Cling stalling

Works on YI, the lip of Halberd on the cannon transformation, FD, Frigate, and Castle Seige.

Just light drop from the ledge by pressing the direction opposite you are facing, and buffer a side b, then hold towards the wall (do not kick). If anyone is dumb enough to go down there, besides possibly Metaknight then just dair them/whatever. Repeat this until desired time has passed.

I always thought this was pretty obvious, I do this on RC a lot on the wall right before you reach the boat again, and you don't have to buffer a side-b btw.

I love doing it with Diddy on Halberd. He is so far down, I like to use it to pass the time sometimes until other transformations occur.

Pretty much any char can punish this in most situations so yes it is stupid.


The only real use I've ever found for this is to survive on RC if you get caught below the tetris blocks on RC on the part right before you get back to the boat.

Also clinging to the tetris block above the pendulum is useful

if you're on the right side sure it is....its pretty much impossible to get gimped since you'll still have your jump+side B

if they are standing on the block and you cling then it falls it looks super badass
