Chula Vista/San Diego Smash Presents: The Gauntlet April 28th

It's not weird at all. There were 3 new players at my last smashfest. 
Terry's is also in spring valley. I'm gonna be showing up later, so try and find a ride, but if you still need one by the time I'm headed that way, I can pick you up.

Knuckles: Can you upload a list of all the songs you used on your Wii (any Kirby ones especially), and I'll gladly give you a dollar if you can also link me to some of those songs. It's a bit of work, but your console had the best Brawling music I've heard in a long time (KICK ROCKS, Terry)

Hey San Diego.
I still need to get things worked out, but I'm planning to host my next Regional somewhere at there. Havok talked to me about Bella's pizza, so i need to work out details.
I'm expecting it to be pretty big, mew2king is coming out 100% (bought his ticket), norcal is probably coming, and we may have a few surprise east coast guests on top of that, so all that's needed is the local SD community to come out. I'm going to do the same thing i did with E4K Champion and offer a discount to new players, but that means i'm going to need help posting flyers around a campus or two (i dont know who goes to what school)
Can anyone help me out?

Mike, ask Havok to meet in person with La Bella's.
Last time when I hosted CV20 there, they asked for around $200 deposit. Expect to pay that or make that back in Venue Fee.
If people post around the high schools in Chula Vista, and the local community college, (Southwestern) you're bound to get AT LEAST 40/50 people, guaranteed.
Food can be catered, but I wouldn't recommend it, and bring lots of fans and extension cords because their room is warm and on the second floor.
Also, don't think there is a chance for live stream, so look at that. AND, ask Hall to get in contact with any of the family members that own La Bella's. We know a couple of them, I think, or we know people that know them.

Well, I really wanna help you, but since I've never hosted a tournament I guess I wont be of much help to you. Tell me, what is your usual hosting spot type for these E4 tournys, I wanna try to think of areas that may of use where you can host and not have to pay out the *** to Rent.
So i know some of y'all were interested in heading up to Irvine with me on Thursday to watch the midnight release of pirates. If y'all are still interested you're probably gonna have to drive a separate car up there without me as mine is filled with my coworkers. Unless one of them cancels at which point I'll let y'all know.
