sorry i have neglected the boards for awhile fellas.

Hm, I'd be taking the CTA, but I could bring a really small tv + wii u setup. Talking 23" inches.

@ Cruecial that would be completely perfect. I only have one crt tv about that size that i could bring as well so any and all others would be incredibly helpful. and obviously your venue fee would be waived in return.

There isn't a tv at the bar we can use?

@ SerbianVillager unfortunately no there are no tvs set up anywhere in the place - its more of a restaurant. I'm gonna see if the owner has any in storage or something but I'm not holding my breath.

Ha damn I'd be down if we could make this happen. Haven't even played the wii u version yet. I could possibly bring a small tv as well if we need one.

• i am writing up the formal proposal to the owner now. I'm gonna shoot for a biweekly event, but what day of the week works best? Im sorry @ ThunderThor77 but i think sunday nights might be the only night that is off limits because thats generally when we have staff meetings or manager meetings so any day preferences are welcome right now but I'm also gonna open it up to see if my owner has a preference. ive had a few of you guys dm me confirming interest and i wanna say thanks for the support guys i really really wanna make it happen

@ Triforce of Love Windy City Smash in Oak Park has a Smash 4 weekly on Fridays and there's another tournament that seems to be monthly on a Saturday in Chicago for Smash 4, I don't remember the name for it though.

I went to exps weekly smash 4 event last night and there was a great turnout so theres definitley a growing scene in chicago. But yea, let us know the result of the proposal @ m00n__kid cuz id try and come as much as i can before i head back to school. Not having a wii u sucks so i gotta go to as much events as i can to play haha

Hey I'm from Chicago but I now live in the northern suburbs in Antioch. So bring 1.5 hrs away from the city is usually a hurdle unfortunately. But I could totally be down to go to smash events in the city if its not too far away from the train station down there. I think it's Chicago union station

I'm a Chicago Smasher (I live in the city) trying to get more into the competitive scene. I think we need A LOT more tournaments in the area (once a month or two) considering how big our scene could be or become. Tourneys attract more casual players trying to play competitively and considering the city is huge we could have a shot at becoming big. What do you guys think?

With over 140 people registered for the great Revival this weekend in WI, things are looking great for the MW so far and we expect things to be just as crazy up in MN with the Warehouse Throwdown 3.1415!!!

The 2nd leg of the circuit is in S. St. Cloud, MN on March 14th 2015. Registration will end March 6th at 11:59 pm (DIFFERENT THAN POSTED AS OF THIS POST), and the venue fee will increase by $5 on Feb 21st.

Hey guys!

My name is Larry and I am one of the owners of Networx Gaming out in Crystal Lake, IL. We have recently started working with some of the smash players in our area to host monthly tournaments at our venue. As of the month of April, we will be hosting tournaments twice a month, once for melee/project m and one for smash 4 singles/doubles. Our next scheduled dates will be April 11th for melee/project m and April 25th for Smash 4. If you have any questions about what we do feel free to ask and I will try and answer as best I can. Again we are fairly new in this community, but trying to provide something for people that are wanting it. As a side note, we currently average about 20-25 per tournament.
