To be referenced by my own tourneys, and by anyone else if they want to. This thread can also be used to discuss my rules instead of cluttering up tourney threads. It's easier to post a link to this thread instead of copy pasting a lot.
[collapse=Rules for All Games] * In the event of any disputes (such as controller ports or who strikes first), settle it out with Rock Paper Scissors.
* Trash talking and coaching is fine as long as it is not overly distracting to the opponent. Anything that is directly aimed by outside players to cause a distraction is prohibited at the discretion of the TO.
* You may not pause the game except for obvious situations. It is preferred if you ask your opponent first. Something out of your control like someone standing in front of the TV or the TV shutting off is excusable. Examples of times that are not excusable are things such as accidentally hitting the pause button or wireless interference/issues (wireless controller users enter with their controller at their own risk). Discretion as to what is allowed or not is up to the TO. First offense is a warning and second is a forfeit of the match.
* The TO has the right to refuse signups from anyone and disallow anyone entrance to the venue. The TO may also disqualify any player for various reasons.
* Drugs and alcohol are strictly prohibited at the venue.
