I watched someone use MK in a livestream against Master Core and I gotta say it was... pitiful. They tried so hard to take it down but MK's damage output is abysmal. I'm not sure if he has some secret that they didn't know and he's secretly fantastic but from first impressions it was pretty bad.

Can't wait to play Lucina. I kinda like Marth's playstyle but I'm really not that good with hitting with the tip so Lucina throws that issue out the window. Also this looks so fast paced it's wonderful.

You guys sleeping on meta knight are going to be in for a rude awakening.

Man I'm really liking Lucina though. Fsmash looks a lot more reliable as a kill move than Marth's version of it. People living too long shouldnt present the same problem for her as it does Marth. Leffen had a lot Lucina gameplay on his stream, and the more I see her the more I think she'll end being better than Marth in this game.

MK is fine. Marth is fine. They will both end up doing work in this game, I promise you. Also am I the only one that noticed that STUPID FAST RECOVERY ON SHIELDBREAKER!?!?! Lucina did it and almost immediately was able to Dolphin Slash.

If Marth and Lucina have better recovery on it AND its still transcendent no one in the game will be able to play footsies with any consistency vs them. They will just blow through everything and you cant block it lol.

Fast enough that it could be used as a poke and if it whiffs Marth/Lucina would be hard to punish.

I want to try a more aggressive/mixup style Lucina as I feel like she can probably do this somewhat better than Marth.

I never thought of using up B like the way you used it, seems to work pretty well!

Now I just need to work out how to kill Lucario and I'll be golden haha.

I would suggest toning down the dolphin slashes. Once your opponents catch up to your skill level, they will make you pay. Would love to see way more d-tilt and nair. Like the f-tilts. Just try not to commit so much and give up control. Solid play overall.

Great video. I was kind of annoyed that the bottom screen for the 3ds wasn't viewable (but it's only a minor thing otherwise everything else was great).

Shield Breaker for momentum boost is a standard Marth recovery tool in Brawl
