Actually, you're right. A character reveal shouldn't be expected tomorrow.

Explain to me why Marth of all characters needed a nerf. He was never broken and brain-dead.

I knew if I said anything about Marth people would go crazy. Also, tag me, or at least reply to me so I'll get your notification.

He's a quick character that has pretty good power with ridiculous range. He seems to be one of the most balanced characters in the game that excels in almost everything. He has a great edge guarding game as well as a good shield breaking move, which is his D-Tilt. The only moves that have notable lag are his smash attacks. His aerials have very little lag and have great range which is very difficult to deal with.

And that's not even mentioning RCO, which is a blatant glitch that doubles his landing lag from up b which was either missed by the team or blatantly kept in, making his recovery game go from decent, but mediocre, to ridiculously punishable.

Marth is not the only character with this problem. Many characters have to deal with this issue. Charizard's is very noticeable as well.

Melee Marth was a nightmare, Brawl Marth was still a nightmare but lesser of a degree. I still think Marth needs some nerfs, but I never said to make him trash as everyone seems to think that I said for some strange reason.

So, I heard from the facebook page, that there is rumors a character might be revealed tomorrow, It seems like you guys are talking about it. Why are people expecting a character tomorrow if I may ask?

Not gonna get my hopes up, but what's this rumor supposed to be about? Nintendo Direct or something?

Let's see, on one hand, we've got a trio that's been part of the Genmatsu leak that has been accurate thus far, and on the other, we have a character with absolutely nothing going for her.

....aside from the fact that there's no guarantee we're getting a newcomer, which of the two would be most likely to be shown off if there was?

There was this flyer for a Japanese event that Sakurai is bringing Smash to that has all the confirmed characters on it with one slot with a question mark, of course I'm not getting my hopes up either

My apologies. I didn't mean to accuse you of that. I probably overreacted as a Marth main. I, too, agree that Marth still needed some more nerfs. If he was about ZSS level with matchups, he'd be good. I'm just a bit peeved that they nerfed him so much. Forgive me for the way I worded that.

But sadly we're probably not getting anything. MAYBE a veteran.
Mewtwo would be incredible. Game & Watch has to be revealed soon enough, though.

I wouldn't count on it. According to @ Venus of the Desert Bloom , those fliers have been given out as a preorder bonus for over a week now, so it's not special to the event. On top of that, the box just says "There are still participating characters that have yet to be revealed," which sounds more like it's just a reminder that this is not the full roster rather then a tease for this particular event.

So I would be skeptical of any character announcement.

That flier has nothing to so with the event. It doesn't even mention the event in the flier. I got a free copy if it for preordering the 3DS last week. And has Arcanir said, the caption under the question mark reads "There are characters that have yet to be revealed."

Again, this flier has no bearing on a character reveal tomorrow.

*shrugs* There are very few characters that wouldn't make sense as starters. The only two revealed that wouldn't make sense as starters are Luigi and Toon Link (not counting third-party characters).

I mean come on, that box with a question mark is a sure fire implication for a newcomer. It's within the row of newcomers and the multiple question marks are not meant for Random, as there is also no point in showing a random Icon for this. I don't understand the doubts, it seems pretty obvious. Newcomer reveals in America, now we get one in Japan. It makes sense.

Okay, about that flier: maybe it is unrelated to the event, which means no character tomorrow. But, I'm near certain about the image within the square. I can't think of a way around it, and I don't buy the glass reflection story. It just looks way too precise to me. Now, if there was a photo to compare the one we have to, that would make things much easier. For a flier that's been distributed to the public for over a week, I'm surprised I'm having such trouble finding one picture.

May as well post my new roster here.

Mii Fighters are toggled on the CSS by turning customization on and off. When on, Miis show up. When off, the Random slot shows up.
The guys at Treehouse said something about Miis having some sort of special slot, so I figure this is possible.

I do not personally see anything saturday maybe a vet returning but that is it being so soon after E3 it would be had to have another new commer annonced at a japanese only event

the only newcommer I can see being announced is Shulk because Shulk is the eastern most requested character to hype them up as we get closer to their release date

I literally just posted the "deconfirmation" of this possible vet posts above on this very page. People have posted on other threads, on this VERY page, about how this event has nothing to do with the flier.

And actually, not paying attention to what other people have to say show that you clearly have no respect for anyone else's opinions but your own. So I'm frankly done with you, and would hope you just drop this little argument.

I am perfectly calm. It is just simply irritating where people still talk about this even when there is evidence, might I remind everyone ON THIS PAGE, saying not to look into it.

Yeah let's cool it people. The flier by no means doesn't confirm or deconfirm a character reveal. However, it's not impossible that we won't get a character reveal. Just don't look at this flier as a way to support a character reveal today as it has nothing to do with it

Let's just not be too quick to draw assumptions. Clearly, the question mark box means nothing in terms of a character reveal. Don't get me wrong, it is still possible, but I doubt the flier means anything in regards to there being some kind of reveal. Which is what has been said multiple times in this thread and the like, but I guess I shall digress.

I went back to my flier and found something interesting. The box with the question mark is just gray with black dots. However, the flier at the Hobby World event has some sort of pattern. It could be a lens flare or something as my flier gives off a flare when exposed to a light. Interesting

Well, we will know in the next few hours or so.
