Hey, Hai, it's been a while. Apart from 100% in Mario Kart 8, life, college, and the like, I've almost totally forgotten this place existed. So yeah, Palutena looks awesome, they did the Miis well, and Pac-Man really does look entertaining, E3 hasn't been bad and I personally think Nintendo won E3 (Though nothing's topping Midna being playable for Hyrule Warriors)

Also Ridley lives to die another day, woot.

I'm torn on what to think about Ridley.

I am becoming increasingly pessimistic yet with each day he is not shown off his chances increase.
I for one was surprised not to see Pyrosphere at all yesterday.

I have complete certainty when it come to playable Ridley. I do doubt him being shown at E3, however.

Worst-case scenario, he's unveiled at an August Direct. On the other hand, we have yet to see any vets...

I really wish he wouldn't make Captain Falcon and Ness unlockable characters; I mean, considering how long they've been around and what other characters are starters, they should be starters again at least in my opinion.

Speaking of future Directs, how likely is it that we'll have another Smash Direct before the games come out? That would give them a great opportunity to reveal a large batch of returning characters (maybe even characters like Snake or Mewtwo) and a newcomer in addition to giving out more information about the game.

I think it's very likely. They might want to have one focusing on the Wii U and whatever game modes and other stuff it is going to have. Now everything has been pretty 3DS-centered, which is understandable as it's coming out first.

Hey, there are 4 different Bandana Dees in the new Kirby game, Kirby's Rainbow Curse. These could be his different color palettes if he is in Smash.

He must have an important roll in the game to have 4 of them. It may be a mode where you control 5 balls and the 4 of them are Bandana Dees. Maybe you need to save them. Or maybe they are after you!

Anyway this increases his chances in Smash I believe.

Also just as a rebuttal of "They decided all of the characters already, so this doesn't mean anything." I say no, because if Sakurai is adding him in Smash, he might want to let people know who he and see him into more games.

If character DLC is a thing, then it's a great solution to heart broken fans. However, it's a big risk.

Bandana Dee is Random......Is has to be......

Also I think the hint just means that Pit will have a full Alternate Costume with different voice lines for Dark Pit, but that's just me.

And I would argue that the fact that he appeared, and was directly referred to, in another character's reveal trailer would strongly suggest that his role is not a playable one. Maybe he's a special alternate costume, but definitely not playable, I think.

Rosalina is actually surprisingly light.

I mean, not Jigglypuff level light, but light, nonetheless. She just has a large frame.

For someone who's light, the demo did show that Rosalina is apparently pretty tough to KO vertically, but that's probably due to her floaty attributes giving the impression of her being able to do momentum cancelling.

I agree, Dark Pit was placed at a strange time. However I think it could have been a hint at an alternate costume with redone voicelines when you pick it.

I'm starting to get tired of jerked around for one, secondly, I'm not giving up on him yet...though I was semi-terrified that Ridley would show up in the tournament as I was unaware that Pyrosphere wasn't a selectable stage.

Considering how Dark Pit is basically a clone of Pit, and considering that Dark Pit originated as an alternate costume for Pit, it seems only fitting to make him an alternate costume once again, maybe even going so far as to give him his own voice.
