I think ivysaur and squirtle are getting kicked and jiggly puff and mewtwo are the gaps for the 2

You're all forgetting Brawl had six Pokemon! So, obviously, we can have 6 again: Pikachu, Charizard, Jigglypuff, Lucario, Greninja, and Mewtwo. There we go. Unless we soon get confirmations of Squirtle and Ivysaur, don't worry.

As for Ridley... I don't know. I don't really wanna get into that.

It does me good to see Isaac and Tingle survive the massacre. And K. Rool lives on too.

Well at least he helped one king k rool got buffed up for possible newcomer because of the kremlings being enemy's in the new mode

If Ridleys deconfirm I will be sad at first but then I will get over it quick (whats suspicious to me is why was ridley not moving and instanasly moved when the shadow disapeared kind of like how the playable characters move through the series)

Ps mewtwo is not deconfirmed we have 4 poke characters so far and brawl had 6 so ivysaur and squirtle are gone but not jigglypuff and mewtwo comes back so we could just simple have 6 poke characters again

I'm okay with Zoroark not being playable as much as I would have loved to have it in. I just wanted a brand new Pokemon character as it would just feel like a missed opportunity if we where stuck with the same ones we had in Melee and Brawl, and Greninja is another favourite of mine so I'll be looking forward to be playing as him in the new games. ^^

Dark Samus was completely unexpected, I didn't think a semi-clone could be an AT at all.
Also, @N30N Isaac was a secret AT last time. I think he might be shown later. Were there any Brawl unlockable ATs deconfirmed in this direct?

I honestly feel bad for Ridley fans IF he's not in, but I'm honestly not sure he's out still. It's a bit suspicious.

I loved this Direct. I don't care what anyone says, Sakurai knows what he's doing. (though if Mewtwo's not in I will question his sanity)

The only thing this direct did for me was shoot down many characters, albeit the more minor fluff. While conversely further emphasizing my hope for Palutena, King K. Rool, and Lip.

-While Sheik could be considered a 5th rep, I don't see why the same logic of Pokemon Trainer wouldn't apply here. If we retroactively count Sheik as her own character, then we can easily get another Zelda rep.

DK:
-KREMLINS! However, imagine if K.Rool becomes a boss like Ridley.

Metroid:
-Seems like no new reps. Dark Samus and Ridley deconfirmed.
-Only acceptable choice would be one of those bounty hunter dudes. NO ANTHONY!

Kid Icarus:
-That trophy gave me a heart attack! Palutena still has a chance.

Mii:
-*Did anyone else notice that stage called "Find Mii"? I'm anti-Mii but that makes their inclusion more probable

Balloon Fighter:
-*Speaking of stages, there was also a Balloon Fighter stage with its own logo.

*I know stages don't mean there's a character tied to them (ex:Nintendogs) but they certainly raise some questions.

They allude strongly to Ridley but I don't know, it's strange that he's not outright confirmed or de-confirmed playable. Why would Sakurai be so cruel to his fans?

If Red is out, that leaves more room for Mewtwo to come back too. Keep in mind guys, they're leading up to E3 where they may reveal 3 newcomers again. If I were to bet who they'd reveal off this direct, it'd definitely be Palutena, K. Rool and... honestly... Ridley.

And yeah everyone not de-confirmed in this slaughter tonight has a good shot now. What were there, like 20? Fantastic direct but I was totally off on my prediction, Sakurai just went to town on every medium-popular possible newcomer.

I think all veterans return + each of the big 3 (Mario, Zelda, Pokemon) gets a secret newcomer. Bowser Jr., Tetra and Mewtwo (newcomer? vet?) is what I would guess. It would set them all up for 6 characters each assuming Ganon and Jiggs return. "Problem" solved.

They also seem to be aiming for more recent all stars. Shulk and a dark horse that hasn't been mentioned yet, Prince Fluff?

All in all, the direct delivered. I loved it and well yeah, Ridley, but it's not over until the fat lady sings. Why show just his shadow and not his model?

Well I just died a little on the inside. After letting my initial rage out, I'm not going to drop out just yet...

But this is seriously shaping up to be the absolute worst Smash game yet, I'm likely alone in this thinking (besides my poor Ridley brethren) but this is just awful.

And Ridley isn't even what I'm mad about, we've got ruined veterans, cut veterans, overall awful stuff, and yet another newcomer I don't give a **** about.
