I think it's safe to say most of the Ridley and Palutena fans are going insane now. I'm still going to wait and see what happens to them. But maybe I'm a little too hopeful.



Yeah, I noticed that too. I feel bad for Saki and Midna fans though. Still, I'm hoping Isaac will make it. Though I don't know if he really will.

Keep in mind Sakurai had considered cutting Ness from Melee for Lucas. Plus he considers Jigglypuff to be a joke.

I think mega evoloution is a mechanic they really wanted to take advantage of, that's the only reason I think of soloing Charizard and adding Greninja.

That, and Charizard was the most popular of the 3 Kanto starters. So if one was going to be chosen over the others, it'd be him.

As glad as I am to see Yoshi return(finally) the excuse given was kinda nonsensical unless I've missed something vital;
"Yoshi stands more upright now. This is a big thing, so we wanted to wait to reveal it." Didn't Bowser get shown at E3 and he's standing far more upright than usual.

Greninja is a newcomer I never even knew I wanted, but I'm frankly okay with this choice.
Shame about Trainer, but Zard going solo was predicted by a few.

Is everyone taking the Ridley shadow as a deconfirmation? That looked suspicious the way he seemed to just hover there to me. Like it was player controlled.

Lets separate the Negatives and Positives:

Negatives:
Pokemon Trainer is dead.
Zelda and Sheik are separate, which means 5 Zelda slots, which means no newcomer.
Samus and Zero-Suit are seperate, which is a waste of a slot entirely.
Ridley is one step from deconfirmed.
And Greninja was the only newcomer. Well, not if you count Charizard, who is replacing Pokémon Trainer.

Positives:
Wire-Frame Mac
Pong (or should I say Color TV Game 15) is an assist
Fourth Wall shattering Final Smash for Mega Man

That's about it!


I'd also like to point out the amount of characters we have so far for the 3 big series!

Mario, Luigi, Peach, Bowser, and Rosalina & Luma make 5

Link, Zelda, Sheik, Toon Link, and assuming Ganondorf isn't cut makes 5

Pikachu, Lucario, Charizard, Greninja, and assuming Jigglypuff isn't cut makes 5


That's 5 playable characters for the 3 main series.
And they are even, which means this is probably all it will be, unless all of them get ANOTHER character, which is unlikely.

This means no Zelda newcomer (sorry Tingle!) and no Mewtwo.....


I'm dead inside.

Not to mention Sandbag is deconfirmed.
Nobody's gonna rub that in my face, and remind me of how I went on and on about how he would be playable.

Dark Samus's assist trophy is just,phew! I like it.

I was expecting the Villager's final smash to be the bees,but,meh.

Finally,this seems like the online mode has been subtracted in gameplay,but atleast they did something about the damn rules.
