Still thinking on that empty space on my roster, though I've narrowed it down to six different choices that I think are the most likely.

Roy: What are the possibilities of Fire Emblem having four characters this time, with Roy returning and Chrom joining?
Isaac or Saki: I still think Little Mac is the only assist that will get upgraded, but I may be wrong, either of these guys could pop up.
Dixie Kong: There's also still the possibility of two new DK characters, so we could see Dixie and K. Rool.
Krystal: Though I took her off, she's still possible, though I'm not going to hold my breath.
Zelda Newcomer: Impa, Tingle, Toon Zelda, Vaati, Ghirahim, etc. Far too many to chose from, but I could always leave a spot open.
There's also the "non of the above" option, there could still be another out-there character like Chibi Robo or Sable.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Roy, Isaac, and Zelda Newcomer will be the popular choices out of these.

I hindsight if you wanted to create the obligatory evil clone of Takamaru, a name like Karasumaru would work if you're playing with the bird references.

I'd like to see range-control idea more. That sounds like something that seems more tactical and therefore more interesting.

I'd take a Takamaru move-set any day of the week.

Well, after watching ChuggaaConroy's lets play, Viridi's far from my favorite character. Gee...I wonder who my favorite character is.

I find it almost impossible to not love Hades, he's just too awesome. Favorite character by far...

Anyways, on topic, We have one per side, so I'll wait before doing anything.

Those are all pretty preference based. Ill give you my 2 cents on it though.

Roy is highly requested to return, at least in Japan he is on the same level as Mewtwo. He was intended for Brawl so he is certainly a good choice. However, it may be the opportunity in this game to add a more recent lord, as that seems to be a trend going on in FE. Also, FE is not that big of a series, so if there's 3 characters in your roster already, Roy should be skipped.

I consider Isaac to be higher chance than Saki. That series seemed to be larger and have greater impact overall.

Dixie Kong is pretty much down to whether or not we see K Rool. If you have K Rool in your roster, Dixie may not be necessary (although very possible.)

Starfox is good where it is so I doubt we will see another character, unless there is another game in the works.

Zelda newcomers could be anything from Tingle to Ghirahim. I dont see a one off character being included (see Midna) as much as everyome thinks or wants them to be. I myself would even enjoy a one off villain. Not sure what you could put here, anyone will cause a debate. Could most likely see no zelda newcomer, but I would be happily surprised.

So depending on what you have in your roster so far, consider adding one of these.

No Krystal
If 3 FE characters, no Roy.
If K Rool, no Dixie.

So if this pattern is followed I would say Isaac or a Zelda newcomer is best. At least, that is my opinion.

Well there's a lot of Palutena talk going on lately.
Everyone expects Palutena but I think Takamaru's chances at being shown off are very high as well.
He's the underdog of the Direct and I want to see him showcased more.
That being said if you do Palutena I'll be happy too.
