Tom Nook would easily be my choice for a second Animal Crossing character, but for the next game.
As for Earthbound, next character would need to be Porky inside the spider mech pls. A mech controlling fighter would be awesome in Smash.

It's also true.
No, it's actually not.
EDIT: Oh, you said afar. What, suddenly DISTANCE matters?????? It automatically becomes an original idea on account of 2 inches?
Oh so she's always been able to CONTROL them right? She's always put them in HARMS way too. That's just something Rosalina is KNOWN for, controlling her Lumas and sending them into battle. What a heartless and cruel mother, I wonder why anyone would like her in the first place.
ALSO! Notice that Luma being by Rosalina's side is actually significant to her, unlike items which are not significant to Toad save for the fact that he sometimes runs the shop where you get them.
Good work missing the point!
What is your point you apparently are trying to make? I never said Toad didn't use items. I said they aren't significant or unique to him. Cosmos and Lumas are significant to Rosalina very much so.
Jumping isn't significant to Mario, everyone does it in Smash and in practically every video game too. Neither is the ability to throw a fire ball, just look at everyone else that can throw fire one way or another. Even in the Mario games, anyone who touches a Fire Flower can throw a fireball.
Better scrap those two moves, they aren't unique to Mario.
It doesn't matter if the items are unique to Toad, Toad is known for being the one who gives away the items. Which is why it makes complete sense for him to be the one that utilizes them.
Canon is irrelevant. Significance to a character is however. Everything Rosalina does is significant to her. Items are only significant to Toad in some games, so if you had one or two minor moves involving it that's fine, but you're suggesting an entire move set.
Yes. I'm suggesting that he focuses on Power-Ups for Special attacks, not for every single move out there. That would be incredibly boring really fast, that's like making Dixie use her hair for every attack.
He's going to still need to Punch, Kick, etc. for standard attacks, but Mario power-ups are something unexplored in Smash Bros, so it'd make a fine moveset for Toad.
I disagree. The items just seem to be more significant to the game itself, not to any specific character. I don't think Toad selling items sometimes is really a reason to do so. It's not like Toads are specifically known for being item people or anything.
Have you ever played a side scrolling Mario game? Seriously?
This is of course ignoring the
numerous Toads have run shops in the Mario universe. Which is in essentially every game that has a shopping system, weird coincidence right?
Putting stuff in caps isn't really necessary.
It is used to emphasize my
rage. I try to be very civil and calm, but it comes to point where a little CAPS lock is nice every now and then.
I don't think you're correctly perceiving my position in this argument.
You said a moveset can't be considered plausible, because some smash fan came up with the concept. You say Lucina can't be unique and can't be a stance character because some smash fan came up with the concept.
This is what you said, this is what I am arguing against. I can care less if Dixie, Toad, or Lucina do or don't get in; whether they end up being clones or semi-clones in Smash Brothers. But what you're saying is not only
dead wrong, but a completely biased opinion.
A: I like how you're just taking that one sentence out of the quote. Ignoring the other statements connected to it.
B:
I'm pretty sure RareWare came up with it. Not Smash fans.
Hair =/= Moveset; I mean if Toad, the Mushroom Retainer, can't have Power-Ups as a moveset why should Dixie have a moveset solely focused on hair??
Again with the ignoring of my arguments!
Sorry, I just assumed you weren't actually suggesting he spawn mushrooms given how horrible of a proposal it would be. That's suppose to be potential???
Educate yourself.
It also makes more sense than a pacifist sending in her own children to fight for her.
But, nonetheless I don't really want to continue this. No offense, but I just don't really want to take the time to respond to these arguments as I don't find them very plausible and they just seem to loop and loop through the same argument.
Agreed, but I have no interest in continuing to partake in discussions with people who believe in their opinions way too much to the point where they'll disagree with their own argument in a situation that hinders their ideals whilst finding it perfectly viable in another situation when it supports their opinion.
