Cranky is the original Kong! THE first Game Villain! (I Think?) also he's a old ape that conplains a lot. Why wouldn't wanna battle using him?

Here's my moveset. ^^ Remember I've not played that many DK games (only the recent Country ones).

Cranky
Special: Clatter Teeth. Throws his fake teeth. Will get stuck on a foe, causing damage over time. Can only be one False Teeth at the same time, like Wario's hog.
Side Special: Cranky sits down in his wheelchair, rocking back and forth. The longer you charge, the rockier he will go, and when you let go, he will zoom forth, kinda like Ike's Side Special.
Down Special: Pogo Bounce. When on ground, will Bounce straight up, when in air, will work like a Meteor Smash.
Up Special: Complain!! Cranky will complain about something (partly related to what is going on), and a speech bubble will appear above him, acting like a balloon. Cranky grabs it, and slowly floats up. If he does it while almost knocked off stage, he will mention it somehow.
Final Smash: Retro Kong. Cranky turns into the original DK (looks and moves just like the original one, but is in 3D). Controll the direction in where he will toss, or roll, his barrels.

Are people really comparing Dixie to Toad? What the hell am I even reading here?

Toad is clearly a supporting character. Dixie is a tritagonist. It's hard to compare her to the other series' characters because there aren't really any others with one. I guess Meta Knight and Peach are the closest comparisons, uh, maybe.

I wonder... IF Toad becomes playable (I don't Think he will), will Toadette or Toadsworth take his Place under Peach's dress?

Nothing against Kid Icarus - especially since Uprising is one of my favorite games ever - but I'm fine with just Pit. HOWEVER, I fully understand that a second rep is all but inevitable, and am okay with that. If it wasn't Palutena?...Just because he's my favorite KI characters, Hades, hands down.

Just to even things out between "masculine humanoid Pokemon" and "cutesy mascot-types", I would go with Victini. But the Pokemon I would want - as in, all logic aside - would be Sableye...because it's so awesome.

EDIT: My full (realistic) roster would be Pikachu, Lucario, Jigglypuff, Mewtwo, Victini, Pokemon Trainer (same Pokemon).

If we're talking slots, then aside from Mewtwo, I want Hawlucha, Pichu, and Eevee.
If actual characters, then just Hawlucha or Pichu.

He's my favorite SF character, but I would prefer if he got a few better aerial moves, instead of his current sluggish F-Air and N-Air attacks, his air game took quite a hit from having his old N-Air removed. I'm not expecting him to change though, and he's still cool anyways. As for his chances: He's a lock imo.

How the hell do you compare Dixie Kong to Toad??? She's not an NPC who just happens to be playable a couple times.

You're comparing two completely different characters, with completely different roles, completely different potential, and completely different merits.

Medusa or Hades hands down. I'd prefer Medusa and/or Hades but Palutena deserves the spot slightly more I reckon.

The comparison comes from the fact that, in the grand scheme of the series, she's a secondary protagonist, but not quite the sidekick. She also just happens to be playable sometimes.

Well all I know is a vague idea of those characters, and I find Medusa more appealing from that perspective. So yeah.

Which I find to be more important. Also Toad is not a secondary protagonist. In fact he's mostly the NPC or tutorial. He's only playable because he's there and there are no other secondary sidekicks. Where as Dixie is playable because she's an important protagonist and an important secondary sidekick. Unlike Toad is playable for fill in.

Yes let's ignore the fact that Toads actually have unique abilities. We should also forget that, as the Mushroom retainer, Toad can utilize numerous power-ups used by Mario and Luigi throughout the entire franchise. Most of them given to the brothers by none other than Toad.

Clearly no moveset potential at all, anywhere.
