I already mentioned in the OP I'm not making another pack. The idea is that you build your own using this pack. My advice is use the 12 or 16 stage pack and make all the extra icons your build wont be using 4x4 and transparent. That should give you enough filesize headway to use regular sized icons. Trust me, I'm crying too about having to downsize pictures, I kept all the originals on my computer in case anybody figures out how to reduce file size another way.
Rather than making the unused stage slots 4x4 transparent squares, can you just delete them to save on space?

First off THANK YOU for making this, it's amazing.

One more question ..

OK, so I'm using the +12 stage version, and the stages are no problem. The costumes, on the other hand...

First off I changed all images except for Olimar's to CMPR from CI8 to save on file space. Tested it, it worked fine.

But I'm getting freezes where I try to replace the empty portraits (the character's silhouette with "08" or "09" etc.). I don't get it. It's not going over the file size limit, I'm able to replace some portraits (like DKs, Samus', etc) but not others like Kirby's or Pikachu's. I don't get what I'm doing wrong.

Any idea what the issue is? I've looked everywhere and the closest thing I could find was this thread: http://smashboards.com/threads/looking-for-help-with-csp-replacement-cbliss.355138/

Sorry for posting for a third time, but these are all different issues...

So I fixed all of the problems above by just downloading NinfanNanz's Smash 3 Project M cBliss build and starting over. Using his sel_character_en as a template.

The only remaining issue I'm having is I can't get 06, 07, 08, or 09 for Sheik or Zelda to load. 06 is part of Vanilla PM 3.6 as the OoT alts for Zelda and Sheik, so I don't know why that would cause a freeze. And the other custom costumes work for sure without cBliss, too.

Any idea how to fix Zelda/Sheik-related issues? This would be a huge help! Thanks.

I'm pretty sure this was asked already but I couldn't find it, but how do you add SSS icons? I tried but my game froze on the SSS

Due to the number of added stages, you have to be very careful about the filesize of the images you add/replace. I don't remember the exact file size limit but basically if your selmap.pac file goes over a certain number, the game will freeze upon load.

But even when I replace one picture it freezes on the SSS

Make sure the image is the same size as the previous image. It's very finicky. Make sure it's named selmap.pac and not selmap_en.pac.

I took the gct codes and put them in the code manager, but I can't have all three and the file patch code on all at the same time. Is there a fix for this, or do I have to sacrifice the patch code?

As far as I know, these are the only things I need. I'm probably wrong though, seeing as I'm often finding myself incapable of using cbliss and such.

I was googling how to increase the size of stages and costumes in project m and found this. Only thing is I'm not really sure what to do with this, I've downloaded it and followed the instructions but when I load the game and pick a stage the game freezes. I'm pretty new to this kind of thing so I'm not really sure what to do, the more I look this up the more confused I get. So if anyone here could explain to me what it is I need to actually do to get this working or point me to a guide that would be very much appreciated.

Edit: Messed around with it some more and managed to play two stages but crashed again when trying to replay those stages so still very confused

Second Edit: Never mind I'm an idiot it was a simple fix. Thanks for making this it's awesome

Im not using this kit but I have two questions regarding cBliss
1. How do I add stock icons to cBliss added costumes?
2. How do i make the cBlisss added costume a team color?
i'm here for this as well (first off, i'm not using anything included here, i'm manually building my first cBliss build from scratch), i managed to make some more characters get a second set of team colors (or at least it's what the Tool says), but i don't know how to add stock icons to slots that weren't there before, so i'm not testing until i have all the cosmetics ready

[EDIT:] also making clear that some characters will have 11 or 12 costumes, and i wonder if the texture IDs will conflict if i add them according to numerical sequence or something like that

i'm here for this as well
1. the TexPat related to the stock icons has to be fully filled in. Everyone has my permission to borrow this from any of my uploaded packs. It will save you about two hours of painstaking work.
2. This is done in the cBliss tool exactly as Mewtwo2000 has described it, by using the dropdown menu to change the team color. Click Modify to soft-save every color change (If you changed FitMario07 to White, click modify, and do the next color). Only click Apply when you are finished changing all color slots. Everyone's issues with the cBliss tool can be mitigated by saving your file and DragCopying a backup in Windows Explorer after every successful edit. Every time the program crashes, load up the previous successful edit and continue until you are finished.

I'm pretty sure that has to do with the texpat as well. Look into the files in my build, it's been a while since I've touched them. If you haven't figured it out by tomorrow, I'll be back at my computer to give you an in-depth answer this weekend.

Tried this, it didn't work and whenever I replace multiple Mini icons it freezes on the SSS screen

The texpat can be found in info.pac and STGRESULT.pac

They have to be filled in all the way from InfStc.000 to InfStc.471. You'll notice the PM3.6 one is missing numbered slots for costumes it doesn't have, which is where cBliss support comes in and uses all those extra numerical slots. (Red Arrow)

Make sure your inserted number has the correct values for FrameIndex, Texture and Pallet (blue arrow)

I dont know why you guys go through so much trouble though, when you could just export and replace your own InfStockface_TopN__0 with the one in the download in the OP...

could you please give us a separate download to the InfStockface_TopN_0 alone?

i appreciate that you offer us this shortcut, but i'm afraid it doesn't work with characters that have more than 10 costumes (except for wario)

Hey guys, I've added lots of costumes into my build manually via cbliss and everything works perfectly in Versus Mode. However, when I use the costumes in All-Star Versus mode the game crashes when it starts to load the next costume (if its a cbliss expanded costume) when someone dies.

Does anyone have any insight as to why this occurs? sinistersnakesennin sinistersnakesennin if you could help I would love it.

Thanks so much. :)

A similar thing happens to me...except All-Star Mode doesn't even start, It just passes the CSS and freezes

Thats so odd, All Star works for me. I hate to rehash this but have you checked the textpat thing Ive mentioned? It seems to me the game is trying to call upon a resource and when it isnt finding it, it crashes immediately.

Don't want to become a bother to some people, but all I really want is the 14 costumes per character (and definitely 2nd team colors, maybe 3 for some characters like Toon Link). I'm starting to get the hang of things, but if I want all of what I mentioned on my PM build, I just add the code below and fill in the missing costumes, CSP's, BP's, stocks, & result icons? (and also work with CBliss)
RSBE01 (Super Smash Bros. cBliss)

Characters can have up to 14 Costumes

I noticed that the Random Stock Icon is a blue version of Sonic's final costume.
How can one change the random stock icon without changing Sonic's?

ok, I just want to add the extra costumes, not the stages as well. Can I use the +12 stages RBSE file, since it won't grab them off the randomizer, and call it a day?

I'm not sure if this was answered already, but I have 2 questions.
1. Is it possible to use JUST the ASL part alone, or does it have to go with CBliss? If it does go alone, how do I set it up without adding the CBliss stuff?
2. When editing the sc_selmap in Stage Manager, there's a green bar on the side that has 2 numbers. I assume that that's the size limit, because whenever the left one got bigger than the right one, it crashed the game when it tried to load stages ingame. Could I delete the images of the SSS that I don't need (i.e. 0D-24, which is the stages for 16+) to save space WITHOUT crashing, or do I got to delete something else to save space?
Please help

1. Yes, but you'd have to edit the codeset to remove cBliss, which would screw up costume order pretty badly, since I made the build to have 10 costumes for everyone.
2. I believe you can delete what isn't going to be loaded, but on the off chance you cant see a texture, but the game is loading it anyway, it will crash and you'll never know what crashed it, since you cant see it. Very risky. You're better off substituting the textures in question with 4x4 transparent pngs.

I too would like to know what part of the code is for the ASL only.

Honestly, if they could make a tool to smart separate gct's into parts you can edit/insert/turn on or off, it would make things way easier.

To answer your question, I'l be going through my build soon, if I come across this info I'll post it here.

Well, how about making empty GCTs for ASL and cBliss? Take the time to redo their codes then keep them updated and thus parsed out from the GCT you have in use?
(I WANTED TO BE IKE DAMN IT)
