I think you were watching 313 not me. He was MM Stingers.

I played you in doubles though. It was me and a Wario player VS you and Mekos. You guys Saved the Replay afterwards.

:phone:
It's a sad day when ESAM can't differentiate between your Snake and 313's.

Like, really sad.

Also, we should also totally discuss about this match: (Judo (Sheik) VS Logic (Olimar))

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QVYbp_21h_k

Could Logic have somehow avoided that Usmash if it wasn't for that pause?

*****s I've been to ONE tournament here, gimme a break, sheesh >_>

Also, Logic could've SDI'd the U-smash down and got hit with the weaker hitbox. However, he still might've died.

Who cares, Judo lost because pause rule. The fact that he even got a chance either means that Today sucks at enforcing rules because she didn't want to "let her community down" or that Logic is extremely nice. He didn't deserve a redo, that's what happens when you **** up or don't turn pause off.

i agree with esam. no johns.
still, very unfortunate because if he had paused about 5 frames later the usmash would've already connected and logic would've probably been honest enough to concede the set at that point.

but nope =[ very very unfortunate timing

I feel more like Judo didn't really **** off, but paused it to savor the moment or something. I'd say he labeled it as an accident after he realized he was going to lose the set from it. Really sucks for Judo that he lost the match for it, and Logic because he's getting **** at because of the TO.

Yeah I'm with PSI on this one. Judo had it, but he prioritized his BM over his desire to win the game.. That's something you should never do in tourney

I mean, it was probably from getting used to pausing during friendlies. but he shouldn't have the habit in the first place, it's exactly like having a bad habit while playing that makes you lose. :I

I saw logic threw out a move. An Uair to be exact, he still would've died. He said he could buffer a down B which isn't logical at all seeing how he was in Uair animation right?

He threw out a uair. He couldn't have avoided the U-smash, but he could've DI'd it down after getting hit and get hit by the 2nd hitbox (Wario does it to avoid dying to a Sheik GR U-smash). You take more damage, but he might not have died.

Yeah, The higher ceiling could've played an effect on it. I honestly think he wouldn't have thought to DI that, I mean Who would've expected that to even work lol. He did pause, which was dumb on his part but, I can't justify anything that happen.

Team Judo~ though.

To clarify, when Judo realized he was the one who had paused the game (accidentally, mind you), he said "I paused, I lose." You can hear it in the replay actually.

Turns out I'm subscribed to all the PR threads and know about what's going on in one of them!

Yea if I hear one more person say I paused on purpose............ lol

I did NOT pause on purpose in fact this is literally like the 10th time I have said this on the boards. I was mashing Usmash with the middle joint of my thumb and the tip of my thumb hit pause. I thought he paused at first, then a second later when I hit start to see if pause was on (also if I did I figured unpausing would disrupt the flow the least, which doesn't make sense but I panicked because I was afraid I just ruined my win) the game unpaused. Immediately after I paused I knew I had lost (hence why I stood up and said I lost and pointed at myself trying to indicate that I paused). It's not like I wasn't aware of the pause rule and did it just because.

Conscerning the Usmash I have done some extensive testing recently and am currently under the impression that you actually can't SDI into the second hit if you get hit by the tip of it. I was curious whenever MK's knowing I was gonna GR DACUS them tryed to SDI down and couldn't. I'm not sure why but I have literally hit sheiks feet before and not got hit by the second hit.

If I had to take a guess, I would guess that Sheik's tipper has a portion of un-SDIable hitlag like Marth's tipper that holds your opponent in place until the second hitbox has come out and gone, after which it has an SDI multiplier of 1.5 so it can be SDIed really far but not til the second hit is gone. I believe you have to be in range of both hitboxes BEFORE you get hit by either to get hit by both.

I am not positive of this but you guys should try it.

Oh, obviously he is legit, but he still lost, which is the correct call.
I agree. The good news is my yellow card just expired which means I can now have the option to decline Logic's rematch request, without being red carded.

Um...you wouldn't even get a rematch if the TO is worth anything. If you paused you lose, that is the rule, and don't ****ing pause or turn it off. It isn't difficult, HELL YOU GO TO THAT MENU BEFORE YOU STAGE STRIKE!!!!

It really isn't that difficult people. I play ICs so I will never turn pause off in the off-chance somebody pauses against me (like domo at WHOBO3). If you are worried, turn it off. If not and you pause, take the consequences because you were stupid in the first place. "BUT I FORGET" well that sucks. If you are bad at the game you are blamed for being bad, and you will be blamed for sucking at remembering to turn pause off. Deal with it.

Ummmmmmmmmmm calm down please.

Also I actually find it pretty ridiculous that you are calling out Daycia like that. She was in a tough spot, she handled it as best she could, she was under the radar also so please don't talk down to her like that.

Like idc if you say I'm bad because I paused or whatever, but making claims like the TO isn't worth anything and that she is awful is pretty ******** considering I doubt you have been to more than one of her events.

Come on now lets be civil. If you are being civil and just happen to have a very obnoxious tone over the boards I apologize.

I'm not saying she is a bad TO in most regards, but if somebody breaks a rule...enforce it. Hell, I've paused in the middle of tournament matches where I'm TOing, and I forfeit my own stock, regardless of if it is when somebody is dying or if it is in the middle of my 2nd stock. I take my stock and continue the match, because that is how you enforce rules.

@JD TAKE MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Also, I left a huge bottle of contact solution there from TGM3...is there a way I can get that back?

nah man I don't even care tbh. The Brawl community has made a way bigger deal of this then I have (because I said right from the get go that I lost).

@ESAM yea I know and that's why I said I lost. People are acting as though I feel cheated when I don't. I said I lost, I didn't try to convince Logic to give me the win, he asked questions I answered them. Only part I was mad about is that I couldn't decline the rematch (which neither of us really wanted but Logic didn't want to take the win off a pause and get crap from the crowd) cause I would have been red carded.

No you wouldn't have...the set was already over. The rematch was charity. Logic already won, so you could've said that. I don't think you would've gotten carded for that. If so, I guess I really was the last logic the URC had...
