I don't have much of a problem fighting D3 but I think that's because of who my main is. :3

As for matchup knowledge, Diddy seems to be a problem character for lots of people. When his bananas are used correctly, they make it very hard for you to do anything if you get stuck in his advantageous zoning areas. Sure, you can just not fall into them in the first place, and you can use his bananas to your advantage, but I guess we just need to have someone tell us where those are in the first place. As far as I know, if you're anywhere near Diddy at all when he is near a banana, you are probably boned. Rawr bananas.

In what situations would you grab somebody? In order to punish a landing, laggy move, or if they shield too much? When would pivot grabs be useful? Would they still be useful if the pivot grab didn't add range to your already short grab range?

grabbing after shielding a move is sometimes smart depending on the spacing. grabbing on landing is also good. pivot grabs are good for those stupid spot dodgers and chasing techs etc.

technically you are $10 richer. you made a profit of $5, while he lost $5. assuming you both started with $5:

you: $5 + $5 (from winning) = $10
alex: $5 - $5 (from losing) = $0

the difference between the two amounts is $10. thus, you are $10 richer. simple math motha****a.
