Sorry for this quote is a bit too direct but I have personal experience with this kind of subject.
You should never play ONLY to get good, or you will start pushing yourself to the point where it isn't healthy. A lot of people can agree I was an ass when it came to brawl because I wanted to get better and hated losing.
You WILL get better. It just takes time and dedication. And most importantly fun. If you aren't playing a game to have fun then something is wrong.

That's good, I hope you keep this mentality because both the melee and P:M communities have a lot of tryhards. It isn't like the brawl community at all.

Yeah, you can play Brawl. To load PM you have to go through Brawl's stage builder first, so to just play Brawl, you just don't load PM.
