You can still hack for offline appearance when online does shut down.

That's almost 80 days, and even assuming you don't play every day that's still about 55-60 Basic Brawl trollings.

I'm scared of the inevitable loss of teammates. I'm already hit hard whenever my Pokemon faint in my normal playthroughs.. imagine how it'll feel when fainting equals death and is a permanent loss. *shudder*

You gotta catch the first Pokemon you see, too, right? Something like that.
