episode selection? So the small 3 second jingle?

Also, yeah, I know, but ... how long does it take to do a single song, and how long will it be until they've all done? And on a more or less related note, how many tunes are there in total?

To keep me occupied, would you be able to upload what's done so far? Or at least some of them, or are you waiting to upload the whole thing at once? Just so you know, I've finally got a full non-glitched-intro-cutting-off USF rip of Banjo Tooie, and I'm "BRSTMing" them. There's 199 tracks in total, however, some of them are from Banjo Kazooie, so I'm skipping those, such as the Talon Trot, Wonder Wing, etc.

OK, so although you said you don't know when it'll be done, as a guess, would tomorrow be possible, or would it take a little longer than that? Maybe Wednesday, or Thursday? Also, can this method be used in games like Mario Kart Wii? For example, the Wi-fi music, such as when you're viewing your Friend Roster, in a "Room", etc, or viewing Time Trial/Competition Results? What about Super Mario Galaxy and SMG2's sequenced music, or at least songs that aren't either in the OST, OR in the ISO as a streamed AST file, such as the version of Megaleg that plays when you're on the planet, but not on Megaleg himself, i.e. this one?

Like maybe next week? I don't know. And I'd have to see about SMG.

Edit: And now I have a Mute SFX code for the PAL Super Mario Sunshine too.

I'm leaving on Wednesday and I won't be back until next Tuesday or Wednesday and I have other things that need to be done before then that take priority by this. But I only have about 10 tracks left, so who knows?

Oh, so if you weren't it'd be possibly tomorrow? Just to feed my curiosity (if that's even a phrase), is it quite a quick task, generally, for each song? Like a few minutes? Also yeah, as you said, there are more important things to do :p. (But you know that everyone's been looking for a perfect SMS rip, right?)

Can you list what tune is what? Some of them are kind of obvious, but others aren't, like MONTE_NIGHT, for example. I assume it's related to Pianta Village?

Monte_night is night time in the village. And apparently I failed at marking some complete because there were 3 on that list I just posted that I had done already.

Wait... night time? The only songs I know that play in Pianta Village, are the main theme, the "band", which is the one you uploaded an MP3 of, and the "Piantas in Need" one, which I assume is the one that has "rescue" in it's name? Which one's the "night" theme? And what are the others in the list?

Hehe, no I meant in the list of songs you haven't done yet, can you list the what they actually are, like
BGM_CASINO = Casino Delfino, etc?

BGM_CASINO = Casino Delfino

And I don't know exactly what all the rest are. Most of them are different boss themes. Just be patient.

The game? Well, thanks a lot. I was trying hard not to think of that, and now you've just made me think of it. How COULD you make me lose? <____<

Meanwhile, I've uploaded... some Banjo-Tooie stuffs.

Sorry. Just so you know, there are some BRSTMs that didn't need to be custom looped. And also, it's recommended that you only cover ONE loop, and not two loops. For example, the Shadow Queen music, firstly, the original audio is already streamed, so it's just a case of converting it to BRSTM, so that the loop points are kept, secondly, the actual song loops from 0:10, as you have in your version, however, the loop end is only at 2:06, not at 4:03. It seems your loop has 2 loops in one which is highly unnecessary, when all you need is one loop, if that makes sense. Same with all BRSTMs. If the song loops at 1:50 for example, it should loop at 1:50 and not 3:40 or whenever, or whatever the time happens to be. Again, if the original audio from a game is streamed, such as Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, etc, then it needn't be custom looped from an MP3 source.

Yeah, I was going to ask if you were able to get the Yoshi tracks, and then a sub-question, would be, if you are able to, would they be seperate? As in, would you have for example Bianco Hills as one file, and then Bianco Hills + Yoshi in another file? Alternatively, are the Yoshi drums completely seperate, like in New Super Mario Bros Wii, as in just the drums?
Also, am I free to update (and add, in some cases) the BRSTMs for this game, with this rip?

Also, the MP3 you already gave was 192 kbps... will they all be 192? And will it be VBR or CBR? Not that it matters really XD. If they were in FLAC, that'd be awesome, but 192 kbps is still pretty good quality, and it's above the officially recommended minimum. According to the Moving Picture Experts Group, the minimum recommended bitrate for the Moving Picture Experts Group Phase 1, Audio Layer III (or MP3 for short <__<), is 160 kbps... this is why I very often avoid 128 kbps, but unfortunately, the reason why people use that low bitrate so often, is simple. The default bitrate for exporting MP3s in Audacity is set to 128, and I'm guessing not many people know how to change that (not to mention, people probably don't even know what the bitrate even is any way :p), I use 320 kbps for MP3 since I like songs to be the highest possible quality for the format. I believe I mentioned the time when I just went completely over the top in terms of quality, producing a 192 kHz FLAC with a bitrate of over 2 megabits per second, which produced a 3-ish minute song of over 50 megabytes (this would be some 5 times larger than a 320 kbps MP3, or at least 2-3 times larger than a typical FLAC XD) -- also this post is long and completely pointless, at least this paragraph. Feel free to ignore it if you wish. The point is... THANK YOU, FUROOSBONTER --- or however you want to combine furrybob and moosehunter... <_<.

I'll be processing them like I did the Pokemon Colosseum rip, so there's no point in you making brstms of them now. I just uploaded the 192 kbps MP3 as an example file. They're all FLAC. I wasn't going to upload anything until I'd completely finished it; I'd rather not post them until they're tagged, looped, etc., but since you're so excited about it I'll upload them for your personal use.
They're uploading to http://www.brawlcustommusic.com/temporarycrap/sms/
BTW, the smallest file in that folder isn't uploaded completely, so just wait until another one shows up until you download the smallest file.

There's also one file I wasn't able to rip because I couldn't find the banks that it needed. It was the song that plays during the video on the title screen.

Obviously, but I meant why would that make making BRSTMs pointless? Unless you mean to say you're going to do them in a certain way. Just so you know, I did make a BRSTM of the "BGM_MONTE_LAST" MP3, but you may want to re-update it, since the FLAC will be much better quality.

Is there actually a difference? Like a different tune slightly?

Also, again, with the Yoshi things, when they're eventually done, will you have it so that a single song has the normal version, and then adds the Yoshi drums every alternate loop, or what?
