You go up to your local Gamestop and stare through the Window.. You can't contain it.. No you don't sing, silly.

If yout don't get the clever analogy, LoL.

So.. How are you going to act walking into the store for your copy? Calm, gittery, rude?

I will push everyone out of the way and get there first. I'll be in full tights and running clothes so that I can sprint out the door as soon as my hand touches the case.

Then I'll probably run every red light home.

I never talk to them because there's always this creepy girl (Who I thought was a guy for the longest time) who's a fanboy and is always acting like a smartass.

I'm gonna stand right in front of the door using an old rag to polish a 12"(minimum) hunting knife. And stare very intently at anyone who comes near to that door...but never stop polishing that knife. If i don't get the game first...someone is getting cut.(Besides, as for after i get the game and need to get home: "Everyone runs faster with a knife!")

Once i get my PRE-ORDERED copy of brawl, I will sit outside the door of Gamestop. I will wave the game in people's faces and laugh when Gamestop is sold out of copies. Seriously though... I just want to go home and play the dang thing.

I will be nervously smiling the whole way to Gamestop. My fingers will be twitching and I'll be thinking "BRAWL, BRAWL". I'll get to the Gamestop and I'll ask in my calmest voice, "I reserved Brawl. Can I pick it up?" I'll get the game in another 5 min. because they will be checking for my pre-order records. All the while, I will be just standing there, losing my mind. I will finally get the game, and snatch it out of the employee's hand (already paid for it too). I will read the box all the way back to my house and start laughing with joy. I'll plug it into my Wii... and have the time of my life.

I don't really know. Nintendo is not really popular in my city. I might be the first one to buy a copy when I go. I guess I will just walk in Wal-Mart, and buy the game through my cousin's discount because he works there.

I walk in, get the game, and see if anyone's playing demos (they will be). Fun is had.

(Undoubtedly all guys will be there and maybe their girlfriends. Makes me saddish. Oh well.)

Me and all my friends have all preordered at the same gamestop so we'll all be there at 11:30 going crazy until midnight at which time we'll all get our copies and go invade someones house as we play all night.

I will go to the EB (or gamestop, whatever) the morning after the midnight release when all the people (Like me) had to work in the morning. In variably, there will be a small crowd of people waiting outside for GS to open in the morning (It opens at 10 am if you can believe that) I will be the first oneand the first one to grab a copy. Then, on my way outside, i will turn to the crowd of people forming and mutter to myself "Dang, i can't believe this was the last copy of the game! They sold all the preorders"

Then, i will smile and walk away as GS is torn down and set on fire by dozens of screaming fans.

No, seriously though. If i can make a 5 hour drive in 4 hours i should be able to get there for the midnight release (when i moved i left my brawl reservation. But it gives me an excuse to go play with my friends over there) I'll pick up my game, unlock a few characters, take a nap and play all the next day.

As soon as my school ends I rush out of the school and run to the shop. Just before I enter I stop, put my hands into my pocket, calm down as much as possible and try to look calm when stepping into the store. In store I get shocked because there are no other people trying to buy the game and run to search for it thinking that all the copies have been sold out already. When I finally found it from the shelf I run to the counter and buy it and all other customers think that I´m crazy. Then I calm down again and walk home trying to keep at least a last bit of my dignity.

P.S. After couple of hours I have played the game so much that my eyes and hands hurt, causing me to drop both my CG and wii controller, thus preventing me to play anymore. Then I´ll wait cursing nonstop until I have enough money to buy another controller.

Hm. Since my Gamestop is in the mall, I'll have to wait until about noon. But the doors to the mall open at like 11:00. So I'll take my DS and make a trip after having breakfast and just sit outside on a bench working on Phantom Hourglass or Fire Emblem. The doors will open, and I'll put a monocle in my right eye and wave around my preorder ticket to look sophisticated.

The employee will hand it to me, I pay the remaining 40$, I rush home while listening to the Brawl Soundtrack in my car off of my iPod. All doors to the dorm will be locked, I'll have drinks and snacks and be ready to go. When my friends show up, I'll drop from SSE and go into versus.

Well, first I'm going to board my helicopter (aptly titled the cheesemonger) and land fly it to gamestop. I'm going to land on the roof and then rappel my way down. My assistant Ryan will then open the door for me, and I will walk in asking for Brawl. A gang of hooligans with weapons will be at the register.

'Sorry, bought the last one.'

And of course, I will respond with 'Not over my dead body, you roughians!'

And then a Brawl will break out in the store. Since the cheap *******s have items on, Me and my assistant will grab a guitar hero controller that conveniently deflects bullets. After a hard fought battle and the punks are dispatched, the clerk will be so overcome he will give me 17 free copies of brawl, which given the shortage on release, I will turn around and sell for $70 on ebay each.







....okay, so I'm just going to the midnight release and picking up my pre-ordered copy with my friend.

Well, in my local video game store.. i already reserved the game and they promised they will have it on the 9th at 10 am when the place open doors.

I, together with like 12 smasher frined of mine,,,will be there taking out our copies.... not to mention the big horde of people that i dont know and will buy it. (Its the only store in the country which will have brawl in the 9th morning).

What ill do?. Ill already have my wii in my car... and we will go to a friend´s house (where we always played melee) together with like 3 more brawls and wiis... and that playing day will last like forever.... ill even skip work on monday so yeah it will be hardcore..

Actually went down and preordered last Sunday. Gamestop's a 10 minute walk from my house, so I'm going to get up, walk over, show them my receipt (paid in full), get it, put it in my (zippable!) jacket pocket, walk calmly until I get onto side streets, and then run as FAST AS POSSIBLE back home. Midnight release... that would be too much lol.

Question--will Gamestop be opening any earlier than usual? Mine normally opens at 11.

I falcon Punch my way through the crowd to get into the store. Once there i Summon a Landmaster to get to the front of the line. I use inhale to grab everyones money and proceed buy the copy. I hear a little boy crying cause he accidently spent all his money on a strategy guide by accident and forgot to buy brawl. I go over to hug him and steal his guide then race home on my Dragoon.
Stupid kid said his name was ness and he had to do "bad things" to make it back into brawl.
