what's that, shug?

Let's get something straight here, removing 4% from one move does not make a previously top tier character "low tier trash". We aren't Brawl+ at all and you know it. It added 20%, approx two fairs or two uairs, before you can kill someone with it. You, and everyone else whining about this, are overreacting.

Zucco, f you're legitimately worried about losing to a bunch of people because we removed 4% from a move, AND DID NOT TOUCH THE REST OF THE CHARACTER AT ALL then you're doing it all wrong.

obv
2nd/48

doing it all wrong yo.

had to use Ness for ksizzle the second time because Wolf vs ZSS is so hard imo.

Zero Suit is BROKEN. You DI out of Uair chains, and you're offstage getting ***** by a Bair/Fair. This is WORSE than what Yoshi had, because when you DI'd out of his Uair chain, you got Fair'd/Bair'd, which wouldn't kill you unless your DI is bad. Paralyzer is also too gooooooooooood.

Anyways, Diem was right about Yoshi still being usable. LOL @ our set, where I glitched him under Wifi Waiting Room.

My matches with Coney were so hype. Coney is amazing.

No one said minus was balanced yet lol
The whole reason for the apex build was to deal with problems we already knew, apex was pretty much one big playtesting shenanigan.

Tell us moar unbalance plz.

@Zucco: You only proved Tson's point, not debunked it, lol.

I'm aware.

Other things I noticed that were particularly overpowered/me just not knowing what to do against it.

Pika's Quick Attack has some dumb range/damage/stun/priority. I wasn't really sure what to do against a Pika spamming that across the stage on me, since I couldn't really hit him out of it. I was basically forced to the ledge and had to camp from there. >_>''

Yoshi's Uair sourspot is still dumb. It should either have enough stun as to where I can't be punished on hit, or it should have some other kind of knockback. I only was getting acceptable results out of it when I sourspotted at like, 150%, since it allows for a sweetspot. I was thinking that it should pull the enemy back down to the stage. I really don't think I should be punished for hitting someone in Brawl-, of all things.

Zero Suit's paralyzer is ridiculous. It's too fast, has too much range, and too little lag for all of the amazing pressure it gives. The risk/reward is way too slanted towards the reward side.

Seagull, I think diem has the official results.

You weren't the one i was talkin too, it was aimed at Inui, sorry for the vagueness.

And lol, i said all those things loooong ago. Hopefully since someone good says it now, they'll pay attention.(I'm looking at you, Tson)

What do you think of yoshi's ftilt?
Good tech chase initializer, or garbs spacing tool which initiates a reset.
I personally don't think yoshi has great tech chasing...

I really only use his Ftilt to punish quickly on reaction, since that's what I tend to do in vBrawl with Yoshi. His tech chase game isn't too good, especially since the cooldown on Ftilt combined with the way they're pulled doesn't really help. Generally, all they need to do is roll away and they're free. I'd be MUCH better off jabbing, as jab actually leads into stuff in this game.

What do you think would be good for ftilt to do?
Make it a generic poke/killer like mario, falcon's, and kirby's? Or something like dedede's or marths?

I've always hated the ftilt because it was easy to actually hit with it, but there was like no benefit to.

I'm not sure what Dedede's or Marth's Ftilts do in this game, but I'll assume it pops them up for follow ups.

As it is right now, Yoshi has problems killing if the opponent is not killed by a sweetspot Uair chain (and a well aimed egg, occasionally), as most of his other moves are too weak in knockback to kill earlier. With the nerf to Uair's damage, it can take up to around 120% for a sweetspot Uair to kill near the ground, and you can't really combo into a high Uair past 80%, where the chain generally stops working. Yoshi also has 0 reliable kill moves on the ground, which sucks. Usmash is too weak, Fsmash is slow, Dsmash doesn't really have a lot of knockback, and grounded down-b can be hard to land/set up. I'd go for having Ftilt kill, personally.

Fsmash is slow and not even that strong. I don't understand why pretty much everyone else's fsmash was made much more viable, but his is still useless.

I like how it tucks his head back to make him SLIGHTLY able to mindgame with it, i think he should buck back even more while charging and go forward the more he charged(like the new wario, minus bucking)

Also fair is a pretty good killer, if you can get the sourspot(yes sour)
I personally think if we nerfed sweetspot to be harder to hit with, Yoshi would be better at on-stage combos since it has good range and sweetspot pretty much ends combos with that MASSIVE hitlag pretty much going

"HEY GAIZ. READY TO TECH?!"

Maybe a diagnal trajectory if that's possible.

I've only ever consistently followed up into down b by

Down b star knocks them down, they fail to tech
I run up, and down b again.

Though lately I've been able to see set-ups for it, just not real great ones where nair is usually the safer, and only slightly less profitable option.

Think down b always giving the lift(in air) would be too broken?
In exchange for making it IASA of course. And probably making aerial version spike to avoid easy-*** 0-death combos.
