Bowser Challenge...in brawl?

It's 3:05 a.m as i write this out of curiosity... the Eurocop is messing up my sleep cycle, and there have been some ridiculous goals. But anywyas...

*Intro*
The melee test of truth, the Bowser Challenge, was one taken by all, and conquered by none. Many true pros have attempted this and have failed. But what i ask is this: Is the Bowser Challenge applicable in brawl? Of course the absence of FoD plays a big part of it, and the "nerf-ness" of the Gimpy-I mean Fsmash, but surely their is a stage that may resemble that which is...FoD, and new techniques for the bowsers to use, or even a new challenger approaching. Many melee myths/challenges/theories, such as Ken's peach theory, have been put to rest in brawl, is this one of them?

What is the "Bowser Challenge"

The bowser challenge is a true testimony of skill, one that only well trained, well skilled, and dare i say it... crazy smashers try.
SmashWiki said:
The Bowser Challenge is a challenge issued mostly to advanced players in certain tournaments, to beat a team of three Bowsers on Fountain of Dreams. The goal is to see how many times the player can KO the Bowsers before losing. The idea for the challenge was originally developed by the Superfriends crew of Southern California, and posted by HugS in February 2005.
The Rules were simple:
HugS said:
1. Team Attack off.
2. The team of Bowsers must be composed of human players.
3. The player taking this challenge can use any character he or she wishes to use.
4. The battle must take place on Fountain of Dreams.
5. All items off.
6. All Bowsers must taunt at the same time after a kill, or do something else of hilarity.
7. Suicides on the bowser's part count as a KO in the favor of the challenger.
8. 4 stocks, no more no less.
9. No time limit, as the matches will end in about 2 minutes most of the time.

I remember those! We did two of those at @M against Captain Jack, the guy almost won the first, but then the bowsers got co-ordinated.

EDIT:

On-topic, Bowser Challenges cannot exist in Brawl. Why? It's in violation of rule number 4.There is NO FOUNTAIN OF DREAMS.

Mind if use the vids for reference in this thread, for t3h n00b5?
I had planned on having a big prologue and what notbut brawl made me play it so yea.
But do you mind?

@ kamekasu: Couldn't they use another small stage like Fountain of Dreams? Maybe Lylat Cruise?

And the rule "No Koopaciding" should be added, too.

I remember that thread... sigh.... the best vid I saw, the guy killed 5 Bowsers.

I guess the second best stage would be Battlefield? I'm not sure.

You can always make FoD on stage builder.

I like doing Charizard Challenge more, and occasionally Snakes on a Plane Challnenge (Snakes on Corneria, or Lylat Cruise for smaller level)

That was CaptainJack who holds the record.

You don't understand, using a stage other than FoD ruins the purity of the Challenge and makes it a less reliable test to see who is the best in the world.

But why Fountain of Dreams? Is it because it's small? Or is it because it's traditional? <--IDK what I meant there either xD

wow, ironically I've never heard of this challenge myself, since I main Bowser and don't usually fight against one, but it sure sounds like a fun challenge nonetheless

You can't just make up rules, this is one of the few "traditions" melee has going for it, just learn to accept it.

But still Charizard, nor Snake IMO resemble melee bowser in FoD.

True, so it seems unlikely in brawl huh?

I understand that FoD is the "traditional" stage to use for this challenge, but my question is why just this stage? isn't there another stage of equal resemblence that could be used to substitute this challenge in Brawl?

This wouldn't work well in Brawl... bowsercides would make it way too easy for the Bowsers this time around...

I like the idea of the Ganon challenge: slow character with super powerful moves. (replace bowser f-smash with punch for example).

I'd say we use someone low on the tier list. I believe Samus would work out well because she's not the absolute worst, but still pretty bad. Samus has a great recovery and an excellent OoS option with Screw Attack, similar to Bowser's fortress. Samus has trouble killing but has access to projectiles which might make quite an interesting challenge. Plus, 3 charge shots after every respawn sounds soooo awesome!

As for the stage, I think it should be Yoshi's Island (brawl). Because it's the only legal/CP stage where you 100% cannot be gimped by the ledge. The tilting platform and shy guys allows for pseudo "cover" from oncoming projectiles.

EDIT: Triple charge shot>Bowser fsmash

Sephirothken's Peach theory - All peach players who main peach are either, effeminate, metrosexual, homosexual or a big fat (fill nationality in here) guy and some are in denial of it.
