I thought I would share this with people. Massive dedication right here. This guy named Bob made a game all by himself from age 20-25 and invested over 15,000 hours into it. I think that's over 2 and a half times more than I've ever played Melee xD. It's crazy.

This dude is bananas crazy. Sad he's still getting publicity. He could be playing a huge prank, which would be epic, but I doubt it.

Play Cave Story if you want a complete indie game made by one person.

I made a thread about this a long time ago. He acted a bit childish when Nintendo wouldn't sell him what he needed. I can't imagine how destroyed he was upon hearing that news though, considering all the time he spent on this. I believe he's working to get it released on other platforms.

He started working on a game for a platform with out getting to okay from the company. And he expects to get the okay near end development because he did it all by him self? He's an idiot and Nintendo isn't gonna give the DS dev tools to one guy. He should of thought of this before he started making the game.

I agree with DarkSlash. He should have worked all of that stuff out beforehand. I still don't see why Nintendo won't sell him what he needs though. They lose no money.

DS isn't really suffering from bad games.

Also, he hasn't shown any gameplay that I know of. Just his character walking around. Woo hoo.

He's completely insane (I think he cracked when Nintendo said they wouldn't give him the devki). Though, the game looks interesting, and I THINK it's officially coming out on the iPhone, and maybe the PSP/XBLA/Steam. I'd buy it.

Though, Cave Story will always be the best one-man-indie-game in my heart...

The best indie game I'm playing is Bootfighter/Ultimate Knight XP. One guy did a game comparable to the guys up at Namco Bandai.

But "bob" is doing Viral Marketing(The nintendo world store spam), which means he's gone mental or some one picked it up.

I saw his teaser or trailer or whatever for Bob's Game, and I thought it was pretty fantastic.

this game might be intricate as hell, but in the end it looks like a game that just sucks up your time and isn't all that fun. sure, you can recreate life-like interaction into a 2-d game, but is there anything clever about the game play? this looks like a twisted version of the sims.
