My family got me into TWD lol. They wanted me to watch Fear the Walking Dead (a spin-off of the main show that premiered last year) with them first when that came around. I did, thought it was decent, then agreed to watch the whole main series when it began it's annual marathon leading up to the season 6 premiere. Loved almost every episode I saw.

Spoiler: Walking Dead: DON'T OPEN SPOILERS INSIDE- unless you're KoP or Ken

KingofPhantoms You might be the only one that liked S2. Well, the Daryl and Shane character development was nice, but there aren't as many epic, plot-driving moments as there are in S1. Shane really helped the plot go forward, but a lot of other things harmed the story's pacing. Out of the 13 episodes, the only ones that really helped the story along the entire way through were the premire, the Shane's death episode, the finale, and the 6th episode; "Secrets." That's only 4/13, or 31%. Compare that to every episode in season 1, where every single episode advanced the plot in one way or another. 6/6 is 100%, and 100 > 31.

It didn't help that "Cherokee Rose" is painfully boring and could be my least favorite episode in the series. I like the relationship between Glenn and Maggie A LOT, but everything else in the episode tanked the plot pacing, especially the well zombie.

If you wanna see a more complete reason of why I dislike season 2, the "your movie sucks- the walking dead" miniseries on youtube explains all. I agree with 95% of the things the creator of the videos says, so if you watch those youtube videos you will know almost all of the thoughts I have about season 2.
