Most Likely just to the part where They took the land from the French (aka Quebec area) during the French and Indian War. The majority of the people there were French and still are because the British never forced them to leave. (Or at least that i know of..)

Mostly Québec because different language, different religion, different everything else and so on...

Everyone else was basically England's spoiled brat.

Also, the constant resisting and fighting didn't do much help, but then again, what else can you do when some other society takes you over and says "Hey, you know everything that makes your society like it is? We'll throw all of that out the window and you'll start to live just like us!" as if it wouldn't be much of a problem?

The Cold War was just one big Screwing over the "third world" Countries. so yeah very much safe to say that the History of the World is just one nation screwing over another because of Darwinism.. The Strongest Survive and the weaker parts of the world will die out.. and then the whole "we must protect the weaker people and convert them to our way because we are surviving better than everyone else is so our way is superior" came about..

Well I just downloaded Skullgirls Second Encore the other day, still trying to get the hang of it though. Seeing as MvC3 is really the only traditional fighter I'm decent at it's gonna be a little tough for me to get good at it. I downloaded Dust: An Elysian Tale as well and am thoroughly enjoying it so far.
