Looks like I missed some Christmas conversation. Christmas is the season for forgiveness, family-bonding and giving. I don't receive gifts from my parents anymore but I rather give back to them, you know? It's just nice to spend time with the whole family and having an overall good time. We do have annual family gatherings but most of our relatives end up going overseas during the holidays. Presents are just a little extra, like the icing on the cake. Anyways, I hope everyone here enjoys their holidays~

Meanwhile, I found out I'm going to San Francisco the day after Christmas, which would still be Christmas for you guys. So that means, I'm going to the past and when I return to Australia I'd be going back to the future? Oh man, my head hurts...

namely because that's when the American Revolution and the War of 1812 began where we were fighting Great Britain in an attempt to add to the the USA and kick the British out of the western hemisphere. In 1812 we agreed to never try and invade Canada which has held up in the longest Friendly border in the world. The War of 1812 ended because the English troops were too tired of fighting Napoleon Bonaparte and wanted a break from war. There was one battle that happened after the signing of the Treaty that made the American's feel reunited as a whole. This feeling would eventually end with the start of the Mexican American War where we soon after Annex Texas and fuel the flames of the Slavery problems as Texas would have come in as a Slave state and the Balance between the North and South would more South Centralized and the North didn't want that to happen...( i could continue but the text will then become a wall of text )
