That's still not very many. (although, admittedly my knowledge of Bayonetta and Mortal Kombat is very limited, and the title of it aside I literally know nothing about Devil May Cry)

Do they actually refer to it as Hell in Kid Icarus?

For the next *insert whatever number here* weeks, I'm staying the hell away from movie theaters. I don't even need to say why, it's pretty much raking in the money and will continue to do so for a while.

And once I do decide to go see it, the theater will probably still be packed, kinda like how it was when I went to see Jurassic World.

Star Wars, I'm assuming? (what else would it be? It came out just today)

I've heard stories on the news about people lining up and camping out by the theaters at least one night before the premiere day just to get a particular seat. I mean, I know it's Star Wars and everything, but that doesn't make it any less ridiculous. This is the first time in my lifetime that I've heard of theaters being that packed. It's been a very long time since a film has been this hyped.

Odds are it's gonna be a long while before me and my family go to see it, as badly as I want to, being a big fan of the films.

Of course it is, it wouldn't be anything else. People will go to crazy extents to ensure they get in on premiere night, this applies to much more than just Star Wars. I'm avoiding theaters since they'll be packed and the fact that I still haven't seen Return of the Jedi and when I do see it, I want to see it with my dad. We watched A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back years ago, and said that we would get to Return of the Jedi, but we never did. If I can arrange it, maybe I'll be able to watch it with my dad and then I'll see the new film once the hype dies down.

Well, it's unfortunate that you've never gotten to the third film of the original trilogy, but the fact that you've always watched them alongside your dad is really nice. I hope you can manage to watch it together by the time the hype finally weakens. No doubt the theaters playing the film will still have a pretty large audience until the very end, but it will be a lot easier to manage later on.

Me and the rest of my family all loved the movies growing up, so we're hoping to see it sooner or later. Tickets aren't even available at the moment (they've long sold out) but it's probably for the best given the insane line-ups for the movie.

I think it's also worth mentioning that four different stores I've been to recently were loaded with Star Wars stuff in at least one section.

The promotional material remains unsurprisingly huge.
