Yay! Something to cure my boredom!

You should stick to being the serious one then. Your jokes aren't all too apparent. :p
If anyone tried to remain serious forever on the internet they would most likely die from inflation of stress in the head

Why else was Thanksgiving being mentioned? Because Christmastime is gradually overshadowing Thanksgiving. That's why KP and I said what we said in response to the Christmasy Gardevoir. Just because it wasn't explicitly stated doesn't mean that it wasn't the subject of conversation.
For us, We celebrate thanksgiving much earlier, a month before you people do, because of that Christmas isn't overshadowing thanksgiving because it was already celebrated before people started preparing for Christmas.

We exist on a slightly, but different view than you, one that your seemingly failing to take account. For us it isn't about "American culture shift" or whatever but to silently laugh at the differences at the dates between the two countries and the pointless panic that followed

Agreed. However, I recommend altering your syntax then to make it more obvious it is a joke. This is the internet after all, so it's harder to know when you're joking if you write in the same way you always do.

I know that. That joke is so old now that it'd be a joke in itself if I didn't know that already. And it seems you misread what I wrote just now but I'll say it again: that was the reason of why KB and I had said what we said. Not you and SG. On a side note, this topic is pretty serious, and I'm actually surprised that you participated in a joke about it. Kinda hypocritical, but whatever.

Don't know why all these people here are complaining about not forgetting it over Christmas

When they all already ignored it last month
Not really silent, by the way. :p

True i guess

And yet, what me and sg were talking about were different than you and keyblade, they used the same subject but different meaning

If we both understand that, why are you still quoting me on it?

For me and sg it wasn't
Besides, Canadians stick together

If we both understand that, why are you still quoting me on it?
Because the subject was serious and your reasoning is pretty faulty. See below. V

...but different meaning...
For me and sg it wasn't
Honestly this part sounds like an excuse. That's like saying if something isn't important to you, you don't have to be respectful. Like if a friend had a problem that was really important to them, you'd disregard it and waive it off as nothing important. That'd be called being a bad friend and in this situation it's just being a bad person.
Even if you feel you can't relate to American cultural discussions, that doesn't mean you can start disregarding its subject matter and making jokes out of it. Your "meaning" might've been different (ie. making a related joke) but the subject was no laughing matter.

Besides, Canadians stick together
Racist. :dazwa:

You didn't get it till i told you
Figuratively, yes. Literally, no. And I meant it literally.

Yeah, they're playing Christmas music already...
Yeah, Christmas is overshadowing thanksgiving.

Stores pay no attention to it, which doesn't help.
I think it might have to do with the fact that Thanksgiving is more religious than (nowadays) Christmas.
Just a thought.

Twilight still best pony.
