Why else was Thanksgiving being mentioned? Because Christmastime is gradually overshadowing Thanksgiving. That's why KP and I said what we said in response to the Christmasy Gardevoir. Just because it wasn't explicitly stated doesn't mean that it wasn't the subject of conversation.
