We had an excessive running/stalling rule to which I was going to call you on. It was written in bold for that tournament. I happened to agree with Kashif about the issue. Meta Knight outranges Jigglypuff by a lot, has a billion jumps and awesome recovery options, and the acid periodically stopped the stalling under the stage. It's Shadow's fault for letting Kashif compete with him when he was using a joke character and not knowing how to deal with camping. Shadow STILL sucks against people that camp well.

There's a lot less in-fighting in Enemy Controller than there was in Montage...because you're not in Enemy Controller. Even if you were, it's not like you could argue about who's better anymore because Atomsk and I have surpassed you by a large amount.

Uh, okay? That's usually the plan. Atomsk's insanely aggressive teams-Dedede rushes people down while I camp. It helped us do things in teams you could never dream of, like winning a huge regional and winning in NYC.

I didn't get kills, but I also outlived him by a lot pretty much every game...which is the plan. We're both much better than both of you individually and in teams.

I don't think Brawl is amazing at all and I've never said such a thing. It's not a good competitive game at all. Melee is a lot more fun. I'm just not crying about it anymore because I got good enough to win money at everything I enter. There's no reason to cry if I'm always making a profit off of it. That doesn't mean I think Brawl is a good competitive game.

I have a really strong friendship with both Atomsk and Izumi, and both are really active members in the crew and one is a co-captain that would obviously need to approve you joining. Their loyalty to me far exceeds any amount of loyalty they may have towards you.

As for myself, I tend to do better in teams because I have much more fun playing that format. Grenade camping people in singles for 10-21 minutes per set is extremely boring, I lose interest in the middle of matches and is why I generally dislike entering singles in the first place. The only reason I touch Brawl at all is because two of my favorite video game characters of all time, Snake and Wolf, are in the game. Snake is pretty boring, Wolf is actually very fun, but loses to lame stuff like chaingrabs and tilt-locks, so he's not viable. If I cared enough, or liked competitive Brawl enough, I would have picked up MK a long time ago. If you consider this a big john, oh well, this is truthfully what I think of the game.

Melee: Owned the same copy of the game since January '02. Kinda want to play something else.

Brawl: Less good, more boring.

Any dishonorable things that may have or may have not occured aside, Inui, I do respect you as a player, and a host, and appreciate the times you've welcomed us into you're home/hotel on multiple occasions. You're also funny and knowledgeable. I also have respect for Atomsk, not only being cool, but being innovative, winning with characters he genuinely enjoys (I think), and seemingly having fun with the game.

I think it's pretty clear here based on who they beat and who they lost to that Inui is certainly more impressive. I mean...dm lost to SAMUS with Meta Knight at the last tournament.

This is what makes Inui better. In anything that is not complete garbage, you have to work to be good at it. That is as important as natural talent if not more. I bet if Inui went on a diet and went to the gym frequently he'd be more physically fit than dm within a year. Inui could claim if he did that he would be more physically fit if he did that but that doesn't mean much in the present, does it?

Wolf is actually very fun, but loses to lame stuff like chaingrabs and tilt-locks, so he's not viable.

I'm assuming you're talking about Dedede and Sheik here. If you are referring to other characters, then please correct me after this post. imo, I really don't think Wolf vs Dedede is THAT bad. Wolf's SHFF bair has -5 on shield and I'm pretty sure he can't shieldgrab unless without perfect shielding it if it's spaced. Since 99% of people are probably going to throw up their shield the moment they see you jump I doubt that's something to worry about. As I'm sure you know, if you cancel his side B, it goes pretty far at a good speed. And unlike other characters that have problems killing Dedede, Wolf does relatively fine with that. His dsmash is ridiculously strong, fsmash is decent with lasers and a super fast grab attack to refresh moves.

As for Sheik, ask Atomsk. He said he knows some way to DI out of it with Wolf so that you only get ftilted three times.

Spam, I think DM said he went all Falcon in singles on saturday.

Wolf also loses to Falco by a good amount and has a number of 4/6 disadvantages vs high and top tiers. Bair requires picture-perfect spacing to be safe on DDD's shield. FD, Delfino, and Castle Siege are greatly in DDD's favor. Wolf's best counter pick stages are all banned in this region. So is planking, which he can do well on some stages. There are just characters that win much more efficiently.
