Banjo Kazooie: Click clock woods (forget which season). It was really way too happy for the last level of banjo kazooie, and the music didnt make you any madder. From saving dolphins from the anchor of a ship, to... feeding a giant eagle? Its just one of those tunes that you can't help but whistle after a funeral. that. catchy. But if you want a song thats epic, I'd have to say the Stone Tower theme from Majora's Mask, another odd but irritating last level of a game that has music that rocks.

The best SF64 music by far is the theme that shows up when Star Wolf busta move on screen.

Excellent! Dave Wise is one of my favorite composers, and yes the DKC series has some of the most effective soundtracks any side-scrollers have ever seen.

I was about to say it. Paper mario on n64 and GCN also got some pretty good boss fight musics.

EDIT: Wanted to mention the excellent last boss fight music from FF3. the rest of any FF music doesn't sound so great according to me.
