I can honestly see it coming if the Spurs can win in Memphis which is obviously easier said than done.

But still the Spurs ARE a better and more experienced team than Memphis so if they can play 48 minutes of real Spurs basketball they can pull the comeback.

It's hard to figure out if Memphis is rattled and shell shocked, or if they are still confident going into Game 6. On the flip side, are the Spurs rattled by being pushed to the brink, or can they muster up desperation ball for another game?

Nuggets fought hard... so far them, the Knicks, Pacers, and 76'ers are out. Unfortunately none of them have been upsets so far though, and they weren't close to it.

The rest of the games from here on out should be really good to watch. Every other series is close.

You know it's kinda funny...Memphis beat Thunder 3-1 in the season...though I wonder if Perkins on Randolph would pay huge dividends...but then having Ibaka on Gasol would just be bad lol.

Yeah, I would be too. WHen Lakers won Game 7...it wasn't even jumping around celebration...it was just a huge sigh of relief and grabbing myself a toast. Those games take a lot out of you. Hope Spurs aren't too emotionally drained after this victory.

You know it's funny, cause when I was back home, I called Memphis "teddy bears" lmao.

All the while calling Boozer "Carlos Loser".

So yeah, I haven't been back here for a minute, but I was screaming tonight. I never get that loud. Me/Espy/Tofer at BWW to witness what I think was the most intense playoff game I can remember.

I told Espy what I wanted to see at the end, Neal with a green light to shoot. He's the most clutch shooter I've seen this year, as a rookie, and that includes Ray Allen and his ilk.

Pop drawing up the Tim Duncan to Manu backdoor play was great basketball. Manu hitting that shot and being on the line was heartbreaking. But you always want to be the team taking the final shot, and we did it. Gary Neal let us live on.

Taking one in Memphis is all that matters now, and the pressure's on them. We're on borrowed time. :p

I said we've got a rivalry with Memphis after Game 4. Game 5 made Game 4 meaningless. This has been one of the best/toughest series the Spurs have been in ever.

Silver and Black aren't dead yet folks.

.
Good drawn up plays by Coach Pop-A-Zit, but on the flip side, terrible defense. I believe it was Tony Allen who was guarding Manu on that lay up. Why does he have to look away from him when he initially saw Duncan get the ball at the 3 point line? If Duncan has the ball at the 3 point line, I'm thinking "lol k, just gotta stick to my man", but he kept his head turned and paid for it.

I'm surprised Battier wasn't more aggressive with his defense on Neal's shot. I understand you don't want to foul the guy, but he even made a few dribbles before shooting, so Battier had time to set his feet or even foul him before hand. The contest wasn't that good either. The worst place a guy can shoot from when they need a 3 is straight away...that's the easiest one to make.

Both teams were clutch in the fourth, Spurs were clutchier. I don't know what to expect from Memphis. After some thinking, Spurs do have the heart of the champion, and they've been in these situations before. Game 7 in the Hornets nest a few years back, Duncan hitting the 3 vs Phoenix to force double OT, Duncan hitting that crazy shot over Shaq before Fisher's .4. Spurs are proven to play when it matters most, but Memphis is just a blank slate.

His grandpa seemed like a stand up great guy...honestly, I would like to hear an interview from the kids in jail...cause right now, all I imagine is some thugs talking in ghetto language and not meaning what they say.

But yeah, I always liked CP3's competitive spirit despite his flopping antics...but I do wish he wins a championship some day.

Dang man it's so hard to watch the Hawks/Magic series... It's a sucky team playing against a good team that thinks they're also sucky.

EDIT: GOOOO Magic! Hawks don't belong in Round 2!

That's not Ginobili and Neal. I like Red**** a lot...kinda sad he missed it. Dwight is so out of there unless CP3 or Deron come over.

On a side note, Zigsta thinking CP3 took a hard foul when Artest stripped him at the end of the third lmao. If that's a hard foul, then the foul Smith had on Kobe was Flagrant 5.

i can't believe orlando lost lol, they played like **** that whole series. I hope dwight gets out of there.

The Hornets had an incredible run, and paul reassured everyone that he is one of the best pg's ever, but this is over, gg's to both teams.

looking forward to portland, should be an epic game 6!

To be honest, I don't know what to take from the Hawks. Maybe they will be competitive with the Bulls, but even if they are...does that mean the Bulls are just not playing up to expectations like in the first round, or are the Hawks just playing well? We'll find out soon.

Not gonna lie...TV ratings wise...Dwight vs Rose woulda been better...runner up vs MVP.

I personally think the Hawks are gonna get their **** rocked the Magic struggled to score 80 against the HAWKS let that sink in for a moment. Orlando was just flat out cold the whole series except for game 5 when they played like they should have played every game.

Hawks/Bulls is gonna be the most boring Round 2 match to watch by far.

I call Bulls in 5... MAYBE a sweep if they're really on their game.

Well, at the end of the day...two things matter most in the playoffs.

1. Match ups: This is my big reason why Cleveland failed the past two years. The first time around, no one could stop Dwight, Mo could not guard Rafer Alston, their bench was better, and Rashard made Varejao look like a scrub. The following year, Mo could not stop Rondo, KG was too much for Jamison, and Allen was too much for Anthony Parker. If this same team had played Orlando again in the ECF...I think the Cavs would have been playing LA in the finals.

2. Who's hot and who's not: The year Orlando went to the finals, they were RIDICULOUS from the 3. It was the big reason why they beat Cleveland. Rashard, Rafer, Hedo, Red****, everyone would just be hitting 3's...you live and die. Orlando was cold this series, and it proved why. You look at the finals last year...a big component lost was when Ray went cold after hitting 9 3 pointers in Game 2. With Kobe on Rondo and Ray ineffective...there was a lot of pressure on Pierce and KG to generate points.

The reason I can see the Bulls struggle vs the Hawks is because of these two factors. Crawford and Hinrich are hot. Horford can match Noah, while Smith can shut down Boozer. The only true advantage Chicago has is D-Rose. Benches are = IMO.

Also have to factor that the Bulls defense is FAR better than Orlando's, minus Howard of course. I don't think Crawford will stay nearly as hot against the Bulls solid defense. I don't know how well Hinrich will do on Rose and hopefully his leg injury isn't too bad. If the Hawks settle for jumpers like they did against Orlando they're in for a rude awakening.

Anyways... GO PORTLAND!!

Chicago's defense is better...but we don't know if they have been playing on 5th gear for the whole season, or they can still show it. Atlanta well...they went up like 2-3 gears lmao.

"So today, Sir Charles Barkley affirmed that there was no way that the heat would win this series.

Therefore, my guess would be Heat in 4/5 "

I can understand the ATL prediction but Memphis too? And BEFORE game 1? Can you link me to where I could find that? That's pretty insane stuff if it's true.

Not sure if there's a link, unless you wanna back track Inside the NBA episodes on Nba.com

But EJ and Kenny did keep mentioning how Barkley picked Memphis to win the series.
