I'm thinking maybe Bowser Jr. for Geno and I dunno, Inkling for Dixie Kong? The latter just kind of gives me that mischievous vibe, and I have no idea why.

Are we only doing the "Thank You" card for Sakurai only? That would seem really unfair seeing as how Sakurai couldn't have even touched this character with Phil Spencers permission. Do a Sakurai and Phil back to back with their arms crossed or shaking hands. Then have Banjo Kazooie above Phil with DK and Diddy above Sakurai doing the same.

I actually felt more humbled by Sakurai when we got K. Rool, because it was purely at his discretion. Imo Banjo on the other hand is Microsoft 75% Sakurai 25% so they definitely both deserve to be in the card.

I am still in awe over the duo returning home.

Can we just appreciate that when Banjo does the victory sign, a good chunk of Nintendo characters were apart of the screen? They could have just left it as only Banjo and Kazooie, but no...the family was there to welcome them home.

I can wait for fall. We have been waiting for so long, it will feel like a breeze when the time arrives.

From Falcon to Ness to Isabelle to Inkling. The victory sign was just a massive celebration as if all of Nintendo was welcoming them back.

I don't think a Dixie fake out would make sense. K. Rool and Banjo-Kazooie were folks DK and Diddy hadn't seen in years and weren't expecting to come calling. Dixie can just, like, go to their house for birthday banana cake whenever.

if there was a new banjo game it would be HIM who dose the music so he would know, is he lieing again ?

I mean if sponge bob can get a video game remake then why not banjo kazooie ? a character SO DEMANDED he actually got into smash with his last game being in 2008 ! & owned by M$ ! of all things ! no way they don't have plans for banjo ! hopefully on nintendo platforms

Usually I'd say take Grant at face value, though now we know he has been keeping this a secret and I love him for it. Warms my heart that Nintendo asked him to remix one of his own songs. While I won't expect a new game, it's certainly a lot more possible now. I also think given the renewed interest, they'd be bonkers not to find someone to try to do it.

Kudos to all Banjo-Kazooie supporters. Due to Nintendo's growing relationship with Microsoft (Xbox Live on Nintendo Switch, etc), I personally always saw them as a possibility. That said, I can't say I was surprised at their reveal.

Though I doubt I'll be good with them, I nevertheless look forward to seeing how they play.
