A lot of the Grinch art and memes being made are pretty great. If only there was one with Kazooie and Banjo's facial expressions swapped. Kazooie with that degenerate face would be perfect.

The longer this leak falls down the rabbit hole the more real it looks. Eric is a madman for this, and apparently Marina is doing damage control now? Actually, a lot of people are doing damage control as the longer this leak continues to be disproven.

About the mural pic I find it funny that Banjo & Kazooie are under Bayonetta. Most likely it wasn't intentional with how both of them aren't looking at Bayo and vice versa, but still it seems like the bear and bird can't get away from witches.

I'm guessing that we won't actually get a Mach Rider Stage (or Rhythm Heaven but that seems less likely) but rather TWO Microsoft stages, Minecraft and a Banjo Stage. Cause I think Verge's source's might have still been right about minecraft representation.

In my opinion, all the new info seems more damage control than anything else. Of course that company would deny everything, is that so much of a surprise? This leak is the same as the ESRB one, same time window from launch, same consistency and same controversy. If it was just a regular fake leak, why all the fuss??

As with the ESRB leak, everyone can only point out small discrepancies that actually have no impact on the behind-the-scenes magnitude of things. For this to be fake, no sane person would have been capable of being so ahead of time to predict all the connections that have been established. From the language used in the text one, I just imagine it's a dude who strongly dislikes Nintendo and did this just to screw them up, first as a Snapchat prank that got out of hand and was blown out to the whole internet.

And just look at the images! Everything is so well put together that, again, it doesn't make sense anyone would go to such an extreme just to leak a game a month from launch, even earlier if we take into account the unavoidable Direct soon already revealing everything. This just has to be real, if not, I quit.

I'm not sure if the guy deserves a medal....since if it's fake then this guy was impersonating Eric Bricard and got him into trouble with the companies he worked for. (even if he's innocent it still seems like these companies are investigating him)

Of course in terms of the leak itself, if fake it's a very impressive fake.

That reminds me I have to add the 3 Links to my list. I have the Wii U Link but since I'm going to be playing with all of the Links again I want to pick up amiibos for them. The thing I find suspicious about this Eric Bricard saying it's fake.....is wouldn't he say this anyway? Sure you could argue that he's already destroyed his career and would be about to get sued but he'd probably still try to deny it in order to save himself. (or get a lesser punishment)

Think about it. Right now we have people on both sides who believe it's real and fake.....if he comes out and outright confirms that it's real then more people will start believing that it's real and he'll have just added more fuel to the fire. Right now there's at least confusion over whether it's real or not. Of course none of this would make much difference to how screwed he might be but if you were in the same situation and you were scared your career was going down the drain even if you thought it was futile you'd still do whatever you could to try to salvage it.

That's even more true if it was a friend who leaked it and not specifically you. Even more reason to try to protect yourself.

I'm just not sure how we can take what he's saying at face value.

So all morning since work was slow I decided to get the leaks into a character select screen, but then I thought, i think I can fit another column here. Came up with thise CS screen with an 86 roster(if you count each Mii fighter)

Feel like this could work well, either as Base game(very unlikely) or as the first dlc. Heck, I feel like with some more scaling I could add a 7th row, for 14 more characters as DLC. It could happen if this game gets a very long life cycle(most of the switches life)

A little bit. From what I can visually make out I really like his proportions in the mural. Kazooie looks promising as wel. Idk why people are so quick to suggest that this look of Banjo-Kazooie is the Smashified art when they clearly look nothing alike.

It's honestly hilarious, because GameXplain used that as one of their "reasons" that it's fake, while ArtsyOmni himself (who still seems on the fence) was like "that's absolutely not Smashified Banjo"

Banjo's nose has come into question?

Rare literally redesigned him for Nuts and Bolts because they "couldn't capture the charm of the original models." Whether you believe that excuse, Banjo along with all Steve Mayles other designs has always looked weird. He has a giant nose in half the art I've seen including all the original renders. His entire face changes shape based on the artist because his design is so not set in stone and his face is so oddly shaped. I don't believe his nose has anything to do with if its fake or not

Yeah, his spot in the leak confuses me. I always imagined he would either be near Diddy or Pit up in the air.

Doesn’t make it less credible of course but it’s a little weird.
