My first smash game was Melee, and I don't exactly remember how I heard about it, but if I had to guess, I must of seen the commercial or something along the lines of that.

Something that really annoys me (this is completely off topic): Why does :137: and evolutions almost never have a role in anything? The answer is that infamous anime episode (I'm sure I don't need to explain it). But that wasn't even Porygon's fault. It was Pikachu. That little mouse managed to weasel his way out of never appearing in the anime outside of cameos while Porygon got thrown straight under the bus. And that unfortunately carried into his evolutions too. It's a shame. I love :233: and would happily watch an episode with Porygon2 in a starring role. Oh well. Just venting frustrations.

Back on topic: Who is your favourite Kirby series NPC (for those unsure of that, it means 'Non Player Controlled' or something very similar)? This includes bosses. Mine is Sectonia. Well designed, well aware of Kirby before the game even starts, quite out of nowhere, and well, it's a giant wasp. Who wouldn't be scared of a giant wasp?


Edit: It's almost Midday and because of this I have been awake for almost 22 hours. I swear those Porygon emotes are moving. I feel loopier than a Porygon-Z. Must...stay...awake...longer...:tired:. I only seem to be able to sleep 10 hours at a time maximum.

1. NPC means Non-playable-character, but yours makes sense, too.
2. Favorite NPC, BWD in all non-playable roles. But if you mean a never before playable character, Dark Meta Knight hands down.
3. If you think Sectonia is a scary giant wasp, you need to see the Doctor Who episode, "The Unicorn and the Wasp." (Yeah, I'm a Whovian)

My favorite NPC is Sailor Waddle Dee. He's a Waddle Dee, who's a sailor. How can you go wrong with that?

My favourite NPC hands down is Galacta Knight!
He has an awesome design, and he has so much gravitus and presance to him even without speech. With a cool back story too!
In game sprite is Awesome!


And look this picture and tell me he isn't badass!

I have always wondered, are the yellow horns part of his mask, or Galacta Knight actually has horns in his head? I have seen some fanart of unmasked Galacta Knight and it is confusing, either they are on the mask or in his head.

If you look closely at the mask you'll see they connect

The horns also stick to the mask here and due to GK's position, it's more obvious here than in his sprite

My favourite Kirby NPC is also Sailor Waddle Dee. His personality pretty much defines the Waddle Dee species' general way of being, and he's a pretty endearing little guy, even if he does work for that treasonous whelp, Meta Knight. ;)

I'm saying that I want them both back, but Ice Climbers can't come back because of the weak 3DS, and Wolf isn't back for unknown reasons.

I actually think that adds to his character. Like Bandanna Dee being a Waddle Dee who's friends with Kirby, Sailor Waddle Dee being a Waddle Dee who works for Meta Knight is an interesting concept. What do you think he said to them to get them to join him?

Honestly, I agree. I just like referring to Meta Knight in that manner, it entertains me. :laugh:

As for what he said to get them to join him, I don't know... The thing is, we don't know if Sailor Waddle Dee was a defector, or just a wildcard. If the former, it stands to reason that he would join Meta Knight. If the latter, perhaps he just wanted something more interesting than the lazy lifestyle that most Waddle Dees seem to be content with.
