Hopefully only a palette swap, Sailor dee has never used a spear, If he is alternate costume the people will think that BD is generic and the role of spear fighter could be filled by any Waddle Dee

No I'm still going to main Kirby mostly but I'm going to also try and make him my second or third main with Dedede. I wanted to main MK so bad but I am not good with him. Not even in Brawl where he was OP. I just don't know why I can't sync with MK

I never said I didn't want him as a character, I just said I can see him being an assist trophy. reading what some people said (yes I went back and skimmed through) I wouldn't mind seeing him as a character but I personally would rather see others. Im a huge Kirby fan but I don't like how he was originally a scrub and then just forced on as a character, im not saying I hate him but it just feels to quick for him to become his smash character over those who deserve it more. as for the edit @ Chalo5000 I don't come to smash boards to be told to go away, if I wanted that I would go to youtube

Well, we have people like Marth and Lucina, both just attack with swords, Ike is kinda the same but different, BD would be the first character in smash with a spear, that's the idea, something different, unique, that has never been in smash

My advice: Use the spear ability, it's moveset is near perfect for smash. Up B: Spear Copter Side B: Spear Throw Neutral B: The team attack when BDee is at the bottom Down B: This one is tricky as loads of people have different ideas and the Spear Ability doesn't have anything for this

I can see were you are coming from, but look at inkling has no game yet and is already at a top position in the smash ballot I know this may some what of a bad comparison but still. I know you say it may be forced in to a main role but look at him now he does have a fan base following him. Also He was revived in KSSU this gave him more life in to his character and he does not have to be an all powerful being. He Had a unique charm to him. Does his playability in newer kirby games and new light to him not matter enough for him to be his own playable character? surly his recent relevance must at least land him playability status and not as an assist trophy relic.
