I think he's OK with putting more stuff from his series' in the game now. We gained Dedede and Meta Knight in brawl, and this game has A LOT of Kid Icarus content...

I mean when there are going to be "barely any dlc" I would assume he wouldn't waste slots on stuff like that, brawl had a lot of newcomers and Meta Knight and King Dedede deserved to be in there, an unarguable fact. Its been over numerous times BANDANNA DEE IS NOT TO BE COMPARED TO A GOOMBA WITH A HAT! HE IS WAY MORE SIGNIFICANT THAN THAT!

Comparing him to a goomba isn't a bad thing, much like waddle dees, goomas in addition to being iconic enemies also have more significant appearances sometimes, like in Paper mario or various Mario Spin-offs. Bandana Dee is like a more reoccurring Goombella

lol Bandana Dee doesn't have a deep voice. He makes weird little sounds according to Rainbow Curse. I can't find the little video that I saw, but apparently during the selection of level, where the Bandana Dee are standing by Kirby and Elline. If players press the - or + button (I think) you hear the sounds he makes. Go ahead and try it and you'll know what Waddle Dees sound like now lol

So I was gone for a few days and what the heck. we have over 300 pages now. that's increadible guys. great job.

I've been doing a lot of talking with my friends over who they expect as DLC. and also who they want. Their choices included Wolf returning, Custom Robo, and Waluigi. sadly most gave me weird looks when I said Bandana Dee.
strangely some of them were friends that played through Return to Dreamland with me and loved playing as Bandana Dee.

but yeah. I feel Bandana Dee has a really solid chance of getting in as DLC
Ridley isn't gonna happen. he's already in the game.
The only other Veteran I see getting in is Wolf.
Pichu, doesn't seem likely at all. Roy is unlikely since we don't need ANOTHER FE rep or another marth clone. Ivysaur and Squirtle while I actually preffered using them out of the Pokémon Trainer's trio in brawl. I feel they don't offer enough as solo characters compared to what Charizard did.
the only other veteran I feel are worthy of returning are the Ice Climbers but given they couldn't be included originally due to 3DS hardware limitations they may still get left out (or Popo may get in as a solo character. maybe 4 costumes Popo, 4 Costumes Nana)

The other competition that Bandana Dee has in terms of Newcomers seem to be.

King K. Rool: Seems to be the most popular character worldwide. but given Dixie's history with Smash part of me could see her getting in over him. but either one would be great since DK needs more reps. but K. Rool would be a much more interesting choice and has a much louder fan base backing him
Krystal: fairly popular choice but I get the feeling Star Fox will only get 1 DLC rep which will almost certainly be Wolf
Dixie Kong: Like K. Rool, DK needs reps. good choice, and has a history of ALMOST making it into Smash. but K Rool's got more votes and a louder fanbase
Impa: Zelda deserves a new rep too. and out of all the possilble choices Impa seems the most viable and unique. I'm not opposed to getting Toon Zelda or Toon Gannondorf or Tetra in but Impa feels far more unique. and she was awesome in Hyrule Warriors which seems to have elevated her popularity considerably.
Inkling: They seem to have a fairly large fan following pushing for her/him/them but given their game hasn't come out yet. it'd be their first game and Nintendo doesn't know how it'd do I get the feeling they may not seem like a good choice in Sakurai's eyes/
Issac: I don't know much about Golden Sun. at all. but he seems to have a fair bit of popularity. not sure what else to say.
Ray Mk.III (CUSTOM ROBO): seems fairly popular in Japan. although based on his Assist trophy from Brawl he may be a bit too small to be included as a playable character without being significantly scaled up
Chorus Kids: Still maintain some popularity from the days of the Gematsu leak.
Captain Toad: seems to be the bandana dee of the Mario universe and is gaining more prominence. I wouldn't mind seeing him get in since he has shown off some neat potential for a moveset in his own game.

even though it's been said that any video game character is acceptable. I still think we are unlikely to see any 3rd party reps get added. the only one I think who has a shot is Rayman. as much as I'd LOVE to see Banjo&Kazooie get in...

So yeah, all in all I think our little hero has a fair shot.

Here's how I'm expecting DLC:
-1 DLC character per franchise, double DLC on a franchise doesn't expand the roster enough
-Are they easy to add
-Would they bring something helpful to the game
-Are they in the top 10 overall

I don't expect us to get the top 4 characters voted, I don't think it's an election. I think this is to give ideas of who is wanted. Bandana Dee is super popular in Japan, and if we can show that there is enough US interest, I think Bandana Dee has a decent chance. I think we need to write down our competition, and try to figure out our chances.
