Not sure that I like the rebuttal to the generic argument. Stating that Waddle Dee in general do things and thus Bandana Dee isn't generic doesn't really help in letting non-fans understand WHY he's unique amongst Waddle Dee. Instead of stating what other Dee can do, I'd have just stated what Bandana Waddle Dee specifically does and that's use a spear. It's what he did in RtDL and Rainbow Curse. Than relate it to his unique role in the cast as spear captain to Dedede. Now we have a character who is a unique dee with a unique trademark and role. This makes him NOT generic.

I honestly think the Japanese opening fits Kirby much better than the English one.
Also, was anyone rather bothered by the fact that King Dedede's personality in the show didn't really reflect his personality in the games.
...Or that our favorite Bandana wearing idol literally has the same role as a snail in the show...

The Ridley stage hazard in Pyrosphere, he is practically a giant version of a Smash character

There was an official traduction in the spanish version of Kirby Triple Deluxe, he was called: "Wadde Dee Pañuelo", it was translated directly from Bandana Waddle Dee, I still prefer Bandana Dee, I mean "Bandana" is an actual word in the spanish vocabulary, I wonder why they changed it to Pañuelo
I actually heard of it, I just never saw the actual character so I never considered him as a SUPER MEGA IMPORTANT CHARACTER, he looks like something you would see in a transformers movie

Starting tomorrow, I will be switching my tag on For Glory to BandanaDee. I fought a dude wanting Banjo, so I might as well raise the support for the Dee.
I think Japan is more focused on veterans and getting in the last remaining all-stars, hence why Ridley probably rose. And when I say they are focused on veterans, I really mean it; characters like Wolf, Ice Climbers, and even Roy and Pichu have a following over there.
As for King Dedede's personality in the TV show, at least he is a comical goofball like in some of the games. However, I am not the biggest fan of him being some dictator and having to rely on his monsters for him. At least King Dedede helps Kirby in the games... he doesn't here. I do like his accent only because it's hilarious; anything that comes out of his Southern mouth in the anime makes me laugh.
Back then, Bandana Dee didn't have his roles expand, so that explains why he wasn't in the anime. I far prefer Bandana Dee over Escargoon though.

I agree, but I do enjoy the cheesiness of the American Kirby anime opening, purely for "Kirby! Kirby! Kirby! That's a name you should know! Kirby! Kirby! Kirby! He's a star of a show!" and the segment with King Dedede.

There are Bandanna Dee supporters everywhere, it is a matter of finding them. I bet there are plenty of Bandanna Dee supporters out there, but they do not know of any others or cannot find a support group.

im beginning to think Dee might not be in, A lot of people say there will only be 3 characters, I think from a business standpoint Nintendo would just care about popularity, and I dont think a "generic goomba with a hat" will get Nintendo a lot, even with the supporters, can someone give me a link to the Japanese poll I wanna narrow it down again, being less biased

-1 DLC character per franchise, double DLC on a franchise doesn't expand the roster enough
-Are they easy to add
-Would they bring something helpful to the game
-Are they in the top 10 overall
I don't expect us to get the top 4 characters voted, I don't think it's an election. I think this is to give ideas of who is wanted. Bandana Dee is super popular in Japan, and if we can show that there is enough US interest, I think Bandana Dee has a decent chance. I think we need to write down our competition, and try to figure out our chances.

dude don't say this. we Bandana Dee fans may not be all that we seem but come on no one expects bandana dee as much as they should we can show them what an underdog can really do this gave us hope now please don't take this away from us we worked so hard to support this guy and I know others will do with their own but us especially have to work at it we got bigger competition and that never stopped Bandana dee. So I won't stop either I will continue until the ballot ends.
