TRIPLE DELUXE SPOILERS:

So... after Queen Sectonia DX (great boss fight), the Amazing Mirror appears. THE AMAZING MIRROR! As I'm sure some of you know, Kirby & The Amazing Mirror is my all-time favorite Kirby game. Now, I loved this. Having Shadow DeDeDe come out of it was really cool, as it makes it so Shadow Kirby Dark Meta Knight, and Shadow DeDeDe can all finally be shadow characters, although we still need Shadow Bandana Dee. Now, my only problem is that after you beat Shadow DeDeDe, go into the mirror and fight Dark Meta Knight (who by the way, is now my favorite boss fight of Triple Deluxe! His new moveset is so ****ing amazing mirror) He destroys the mirror... WHAT!? **** KING DEDEDE HE JUST DESTROYED THE AMAZING ****ING MIRROR ARE YOU SERIOUS

I MEAN WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

DID HE JUST DESTROY MY ONLY HOPES OF AN AMAZING MIRROR SEQUEL AND POSSIBLY AN AMAZING MIRROR REMAKE?

Hey Dee-ciples of the Bandana, I've been gone for about a week, but glad to be back. Now that the leak is confirmed (imo), I feel like it's hard to tell what Is ahead. I hope he is one of the last 5, but with Ridley, DK rep, and veterans waiting, I'm kind of scared. That Impa/Wolf leak was looking pretty good, but who knows.

Btw, is it bad I didn't enjoy Triple Deluxe as much as I thought I would? It seemed way to easy. It seemed too simplistic imo. Without an EX run, I felt it was a little lacking. I loved the new features and returning copy abilities, but the lack of challenge was a let down for me. Am I the only one?

Uh Triple Deluxe is one of the more challenging Kirby games. Almost all Kirby games are easy x_x Triple Deluxe at least offers great design with the powers so a person can openly set challenges for themselves, a very challenging Very Hard mode in Kirby Fighters, finding ALL 256 keychains, the option to get the best time you possibly can in EX mode as a personal challenge, the hardest True Arena challenge in the series, and getting platinum on Dedede Drum Dash was tough.

It's certainly far from the most simplistic in the series. If challenge is what you're looking for than there is all that I mentioned but Kirby is an entry levels series for beginners so most of all the titles are easy. x_x

Hardest Kirby game is Dreamland 3 IMO, damn heart stars and glitch that makes it impossible to have 100% if you get everything in one go...
Pfft nah DL3 is easy. Some of the mini games are just annoying and required me go go back and repeat them. Like listening to gordo sounds. DL 2 is actually harder than DL3 and is actually known for it's somewhat better challenge.

Hardest Kirby game is Pinball Land. I kid you not... it's impossible, lol.

Some of the non traditional titles are somewhat more challenging like Canvas Curse and Mass Attack. Most all Kirby games are easy though. There's not one that gave me hellish nightmare trouble. It's just not that kind of series. You want **** hard precision platforming than play a DK game. However Kirby games are most about action and enjoying the ride. Kirby was CREATED to be easy because during the late NES age everything was hard and there was no welcoming titles for people GETTING into games. It was pretty big deal at the time. Now there are other franchise like Starfy and such but Kirby with it's 22 years of quality entry level fun is the king of fantastic welcoming platforming titles.

It's pinball, I don't think it counts. And I've played DL2, DL3 is harder IMO, and it's one of the best games in the franchise. Spinoffs are fun anyway. Damn Block Ball...

Mass Attack is impossible for me, I just can't have the game 100% complete.
I still remember that graveyard level with 4 bosses.
There is always a Kirby that doesn't survive u.u

Why can't pinball count? It's still a Kirby game and it's still the hardest one lol. We ARE talking about Harder Kirby games. Kirby's Pinball IS definitely the hardest lol. IMO I didn't have a problem with the difficulty in DL2 or DL3. In fact I don't have a problem with the difficulty in any games. I beat Mass Attack at 100% and beat DL3. I just don't think Kirby games are hard until you start using the design to mess with it yourself. Like doing Power Runs and beating my time. I would keep playing Gourmet Race to be my fastest time with wing power. I have a super good time in that game. I will find the cartridge and see what the time is and post it eventually so people can try and beat it.

Anyway overall Kirby games are easy. IMO there is no hard Kirby MAIN game but great challenging extras and collectibles if you want to do them. Nothing forced which is good design. Great design, awesome world and characters. Good Entry Level series. However no precision platforming like DK which is much more difficult.

It goes like this

Kirby (beginner) -> Mario (intermediate) -> DK (hard)

Pinball has been done to death by everything. Hell, the only spinoff in metroid is pinball. Anyway, I want a NES hard Kirby game, even though I can't help but love all the easy games, even if the difficulty is the collect-athon stuff

I doubt we'll see an NES hard Kirby game. That's just not what the franchise is about. Kirby was created to fill that void in the market. As long as there's still a market of younger and new gamers (which there always will be) but I admire the extra stuff they put in Kirby games so they CAN add challenge. Triple Deluxes' True Arena mode was a threat. Collecting is awesome as well as mostly long timers will be concerned with this task. Having 256 keychains in the new game was awesome to collect. The rare keychains were REALLY tricky. Timed modes are also great and welcomed. Having difficulty levels in Kirby fighters was awesome and platinum coins to collect in Drum Dash or Power Room challenges was awesome. I wish they put in some more of those Power room challenges in Triple Deluxe. My one content nitpick

However I just don't see main Kirby being hard. Kirby has a role in the industry, there are players who simply aren't as skilled or have the time to become better at other games. They may also be young. They would not be happy if the next game were suddenly crazy hard. There are people who play Kirby cause it is easy. So this could turn them off. Kirby is a very long running series that has perfected it's appeal to this group and it'd be kind of self entitled to change that about the series. Though I'm down with a selectable or unlockable harder modes... the main modes should probably always be easy. Though difficulty settings one can select and unlockable hard modes could fix this divide maybe. The unlockables are def good.

I know, but part of me wants a kirby game to be 84x harder than Dark Souls just so we laugh at everyone saying that Kirby is for the filthy casuals and shouldn't exsist.

pfft... just don't care about being called a casual? I really don't care if people think Kirby is for casuals (technically it can be). Why is that a bad thing? Seems kind of silly and immature to hate on people because they play an easy game... like who cares? I like hard AND easy games. I need easy games as much as hard games cause I like to have something laid back between other games. I would play Kirby when I was replaying VVVVVV and Monster Hunter Tri Ultimate. I say if you really think you're an internet tough guy just because you play demon souls than good for you. No one cares about this world impacting (hahaha) skill of yours.

Nevermind those folks.

Hello fellow fans of the Dee. I have been a fan of Bandanna Dee ever since I got Kirby Super Star for my first DS game and I was very happy to find him playable in K:RTDL. So I am happy to support him so the return to Dream Land crew can be complete

I agree on ignoring them, but I think it would be hilarious for the super tough pink puff to have the hardest thing out there! I do ignore the haters, as I think it's funny how stupid humanity tends to be!

Ahem, easy?! H-Have we even played the same game?! have you TRIED going for 100% on your first run?! Have you played
Kirby fighters on easy and then gotten to hard mode?! have you even GOTTEN to Dedede's Drum Dash yet?! or the True Arena! Simplistic my left foot, this game is far more difficult than you make it seem!

Guys, what if Bandanna dee ends up being a Kirby clone?
That wouldn't make sense at all. I can see Bandana Dee be a Meta Knight clone, but I don't see why he would be a Kirby clone. Why would he do punches and kicks when he has a spear? That would be like making Shulk a Mario clone and not have him use his Monado at all.

I don't see it happening, because the moveset wouldn't make sense. However, I would still be extremely happy if this happened because I would rather have BDee in as a clone than not in at all.

Ok guys I would be doing my Triple Deluxe impressions roght now but... i have a **** ton of homework, I am on mobile and I played through 3 levels in World 2 of the game already. So get hype for not-so initial impressions e.g. CodeBlue tries to remember his initial impressions of a game he started playing two days ago tomorrow evening.

Also I'm going to make the Skype group by the end of the week. Add me on skype (nya_blue) if you want to join group. Tell the Kirby, Dedede, Adeline, Magolor, Boxin, Knuckle Joe, Bonkers, Scarfy, Kabu, Plasma Wisp, Meta Knight, and yellow fox cream puff fans to join too. We need everyone we can get :)

The Kirby franchise is meant to be an easy-to-play series. The franchise isn't focused specifically on hardcore platforming - to be honest, the game isn't focused much on platforming at all. The games are supposed to be showing the creative side of games, with a cute charm. The level design in the games, the music, the animations, models, textures, etc. are all very beautiful. At least in my opinion, Kirby games always seem to be one of the best looking games on a console. They take unique routes and always implement something new into the games - new features, characters, art styles... everything. If you want more of a challenge, then stop playing Kirby altogether. My sister, who is only five, loves the series. Her first game was Return to Dream Land, and she was actually able to play the game because of the simplistic controls, be able to go through a few levels because the game isn't insanely hard, and loved the games because of the cute charm of the whole game - characters, levels, enemies, and even the music. Also, creating a truly hard Kirby game would be a hefty task, as Kirby is generally overpowered. He has tons of Copy Abilities, all which are pretty much unfair, mostly used for traversing the stages. Kirby should much more be considered a puzzle game using platforming elements, because that's what it mostly is. I honestly hate seeing these kinds of comments, as it's never what the Kirby franchise is ever focused on. To be honest, you sound like IGN right now.

Hardest Kirby game is Dreamland 3 IMO, damn heart stars and glitch that makes it impossible to have 100% if you get everything in one go...
Dream Land 3 is actually really easy - the animal friends make the game a lot easier, as they have traits that basically allow you to go through levels in less than a minute. The only reason I would say that the game is "hard" is because there's no clear objective, as it doesn't tell you what to do at all. You're basically left guessing, but after you find out what you're actually doing, it really makes the game easy.

I know, but part of me wants a kirby game to be 84x harder than Dark Souls just so we laugh at everyone saying that Kirby is for the filthy casuals and shouldn't exsist.

They only censored the Shotzo because it is depicted as shooting Kirby, which is the player. In America, there has been quite a lot of shooting incidents, which I don't think anybody needs to be reminded of. These accidents are tragic, and I don't think Nintendo, HAL, and Kirby as a whole would be getting a good reputation having a Shotzo aiming for the player. Also, to make matters worse, the game is marketed towards children, and after some events that have recently taken place, I don't think that having a Shotzo being shown shooting a child is really going to be a good idea.

Guys, what if Bandanna dee ends up being a Kirby clone?
This doesn't make any sense at all. Bandana Dee barely has any traits that relate to Kirby other than the fact that he has a similar body structure. Even with that, he can barely move like Kirby can, so it just wouldn't work. He can't fly, he doesn't inhale, he's never kicked anything, or punched anything. Most of Kirby's moves in Super Smash Bros. are based off of Copy Abilities, and Bandana Dee can't use Copy Abilities, either. I'm sure the creator of the Kirby franchise, and the person who introduced Copy Abilities is just going to let Bandana Dee take every single trait that actually makes Kirby unique and give them to him...

---

Onto a more positive note - it's time for me to attempt Kirby: Triple Deluxe's True Arena! After playing DeDeDe Tour, I know this won't be easy... I almost died on basically every single boss that I fought, except easier ones such as Flowery Woods, Paintra, and Kracko. After taking @ kirby_queen kirby_queen 's advice, Pyribbot is a lot easier now. He actually leaves more time to attack him while he's in DX form, so that's a plus!
