Seriously guys, I think he may just be one of the best falcon mainers beside chester01 ever.

EVER. 17th at OiN2 out of 81 with falcon and sonic. The amount of skill at this tournament was ********.

All hail ayaz18.

Though I did eliminate him from the tournament, I think his falcon brought me to last stock

ahaaaaaa!

well tournaments I will tell you right now are 90% mental and 10% on how good you are. If you go into a match against an impossible match-up (ie. the entire cast) your most likely going to lose. probably because you'll be thinking about how bad they're going to own you, as soon as that crosses your mind you fail. You have to be thinking that you have a winnable chance (by the way this applies if your playing a "big name") or chances are slim that your going to win. Ways to get over this depression and gayness is to either say to yourself before the tournament that your going in to do YOUR best, or use weed :) my personal favourite.

Most importantly believe in your character. If you don't believe that Falcon is good, drop him. If you can actually see potential in him then you have a fighting chance. That's probably why people like Niko use Peach, is because he SEES potential, and tries to utalize it.

as for playing technically good, practice is the only thing I can say. go to weekly practices or smash events in your area, don't care about placing, just go in for the experience. And it is important to know ALL of your characters specific techs, like the mock-waveland (seriously I danced around MK's with this)

that's the basic gist of things:

play at YOUR best (don't aim for a placing)

Believe your character is good

Practice

Know YOUR strats

Patience............

You missed one thing.

As falcon, if a character hits you with a low knockback move, instant SH Knee out of it. Since there is no hitstun you will catch them as if they whiffed their attack.

Chester01 actually beat me with his falcon doing this.

That plus super TDI+SDI.

Do we really need two threads praising someone we haven't seen videos of? >_> I'm not doubting Ayaz, but it's coming off as a bit cocky, especially without vids to back it up.
If I had vids you would be blinded by the shear awesomeness of them

plus I have tournament results *****

LOL I have believed that since day one but everyone in the Falcon boards just shot me down whenever I brought it up. You're confusing...:confused::confused::confused::confused:

But it's ok
I know exactly what you mean. There have been multiple posts that were something along the lines of "You won't be a great Falcon until you accept that he sucks" or something like that.

yeah, you do Need to realize that he does suck; tier-wise and technically, he has nothing going for him IN COMPARISON TO OTHER CHARACTERS. Find what's good with Falcon and abuse it

Pasta Edit: pro music, after first stock you can tell I was being a stoned idiot...........oh well more to come if jarred brings a capture card at my house on friday

jarred is too pro

Not gonna lie, wasn't too convinced with that video. The Falcon stuff was fine, but your Diddy pastaboy needs work. You've got the banana combos down, but you could've killed Falcon WAY faster if you would have edgehogged or did any edge tactics (besides launching peanuts over the edge).

This is quite inspirational and motivating and agree 100% with it. Example being. I played Hylian (some dude in texas thats supposed to be the best or close to it) at a tourney. Almost 3 stocked him. Someone tells me that I just wrecked Hylian the best in texas blah blah blah. Next thing you know, he 2 stocks my toon link. I played that second match too scared and what not. Honestly, walk into matches thinking that your just gonna ****. doesnt matter who you're fighting or how popular they are in the boards. F that. Just go and ****.

yea dont really know about that cuz he picked lylat for the second match (it was pools) and from what i understand, both rounds were picked at random and were in neutrals. It was my first tourney so i didnt find out till later that he wasnt supposed to pick. on top of that when i first beat him, he didnt shake my hand. dont know how cool he really is. oh well...

First off, that wasn't very good Falcon play. A lot of ******** attempts to knee/aerial kick, and he wasn't even NAiring back onto the stage (to cancel the landing lag). There was some good Falcon play in the beginning with using Diddy's bananas, but it dried up fast. I'm not saying Ayaz is bad. Ayaz is better than that.

It's nice to finally see footage of him though.

1st of all: I'm not the best in texas lol. Secondly, did you play me in tournament or in a friendly? The only TL I played at FAST in tournament was in pools.

Just clarifying. Also, a diddy player 2-0'ed me in pools as well and I beat him second round of the brackets lol. Pools scared me >_<.

You have pretty bad memory..or something. I hate lylat and I ban it a lot of the time. I would never counterpick lylat. We went random both matches. I told you "Good Luck" before the first match, and then shook your hand after the set was over. I wasn't upset in the slightest that you took a match from me so I don't really know where you're getting that from.
