This guy in my class reckons he can kick my *** in smash, even though he hasn't played smash in, oh, 3 years. he and my other friend, who actually is talented in the ways of smash (even though he's rather roll-out happy), are teaming up against me and another guy in my class for a money match. I'm still not sure if he's actually serious about beating me, but if he is............ It'll be fun to pwn someone greatly and put them in their place.

In this case yes, I will make it saturday. The more the merrier,hahaha. What time however is another matter, but if I'm staying the night, I suppose that means that I would be arriving in the evening, and I won't have to get up at 5:00am in the morning...

I just discovered and am now practicing the wonders of the crouch cancel. I never knew it could be so **** effective and useful.

Question: Is there a strategy against people who are rather rollout-happy? I was versing my friend today and he beat me both times we played (not by much though I should add) with his Sheik. I went no johns and didn't say anything, but I really believe it was because he was constantly rolling out. By constantly, I mean whenever he's not attacking. Seriously. So back to my question, is there something I can do to counter his itchy roll out finger?

Every character moves at a set distance when they roll, and there is always a recovering animation when they get up from their roll. Anticipate where they will roll and grab/smash/punish them just as they get up from it. It's very to chase them when you're in that mindset.

lol Jon, I haven't made sigs lately, but suffice to say, nothing I could muster can top Ino-Samus, hahaha. It's perfectly you, dream boy.

A few hours ago at the time of this post I won the Soul Calibur 2 tournament at e2games. I'll take you on in just about any fighter, KOF, SvC, CvS2, SF3TS, T5, GGXX#r, MvC2, VF4evo.... just not smash lol.

And about bowling, yeah I did get owned, I would prefer to go to SEAT2 than be captain of my tenpin bowling team but I cant. It is after all the highest state championship for u/18s there is, the captain not turning up would not be cool. I will however pop up for some casual greatness for about an hour. Book your games now!

i use robo-ky and millia and plasia uses ky if i remember correctly.
isuka is pretty dodgy with the whole double layer fighting thing and R1 to turn, which is why everyone plays GGXX#R still as the main GG.

Yeah im pretty good with the puff ball (note: the only character with a differently pronounced name in foreign languages, german = pummelluff, franch = rondoudou) but i even found my self beating my marth using friends with her and beating my samus using friend with bowser.

But one thing whats with this melbourne event? Is it an open event, cause me and my friends used to go to heaps of H2 lans and stopped when we lost interest in the game (When the brilliant UC2 came out) and my friend saw the comp thing and wants to drive down if its a public event.

SEAT2 is indeed a public and open event that is open to all. I usually get some people coming to the tournies who I didn't expect at all, which is always a v.cool thing. Let me know what happens.

Had a smashfest with Forblaze, Falcophantism, JM and eRick yesterday, interesting combination, heh ^_^

JM inifinte drill is CHEAP!! XP Works on Peach, but for some reason it doesnt work on Bowser lol. eRick likes to 'invent' Falco stuff, hahaha, Forblaze has grown quite a bit, and Adam held on his own well for a first timer. Good stuff guys, ramping it up for the second SEAT.

Welcome to the boards ZEREUL. Hope you and your friend make it down to SEAT2. I use Bowser because he is top tier in awesomocity.

Yes, smashmeet yesterday was quite a fun experience for me. Much knowledge passed down from one Falco user to another. Good stuff.

Also, I just realised; a few pages ago I said I'm implement crouch cancels. Turns out I got the terms wrong, I meant dash cancels ^_^; Thought I should clear that up, I'm not too keen on looking like a complete noob xD
