It would have been cool if people had just taken it lightly and work harder to improve their rank if they don't agree with the rank they were given - constructive, healthy competition. It had a potential to promote something worthwhile - just unfortunate it led into the wrong direction.

Pride is a hell of a thing.

But as CAO knows, I do want to improve my rank, tiers or none.

Then come back and play some more! What's the deal with dragging us all to Geelong? I hate the footy anyways!

I'm going to Geelong regardless of what Shaz thinks, because think it would be a nice gesture to visit him after he traveled to visit us. I also like travelling.

I've earmarked the 14th as the day to pay Mikul a little visit - Emily seems keen on the idea as well, which is cool. Does anyone else want to join us? I'll may be able to help those who come along financially, if money is the deciding factor. Will most likely be a day meet, so early birding it is the way to go. I'll also need your mobile number and address, which you can PM to me if you want.

Well whatever you paid, times that by however many of us there were at KO's place, and then consider what the cheaper option is: us all coming to your place, or you coming back here, being allowed to stay several days with someone most likely free of charge + you'll be able to play most people since we are all seeming to be available different times.

You need.
1. A top tier VCR that can tape in 60htz (Only available in Perth)
2. Plug the Cube into the VCR, then plug the VCR into the TV.
3. If you want to put the video's on a comp, you need a video capture card. I don't have one and can't remember exactly how to do it. Em?

Following what Mic said:
When you buy a capture card, there should be a recording program to get the footage on the Computer. It should come with a cable that connects the VCR to the Card. Then just play the footage recorded on tape and record.
Also, Compress the size of the Vids [prefably Dr Divx] since it'll be huuuuuge [1 gig uncompressed AVI].

Or...Plasia can explain how to hook up your GC to your PC. I'm pretty sure matches can be recorded.

and concerning going to geelong.. i agree with shaz. if you're only 1 or 2 people going the $33 a person fare then it's pretty reasonable, but if you get more than 2 people going then it would be much wiser for everyone to pitch in and pay the cost of the 1 person coming to us.

It's best to keep it a relatively intimate meet. You wanted to get schooled, right? Shaz and Em will definently help. Shaz is really good at pointing out faluts and areas needing improvement (backtracks 7 months ago to the days of Shaz shouting "KO, jump out of your reflector!"), and Emily is really good at that too, but especially good at yelling, which comes out as some form of cruel encouragement... - the joys of being an Em stoodent, lol. XD

Also, I hooked up two Sydney players - hopefully a scene can emerge there.

Regarding my intentions to accompany Cao for a trip to Perth in the coming months, I just thought to mention, my brother and Mum are heading to America and are leaving on the 3rd of June and arriving back home on the 26th of June. If that's when it is, then I can't go to Perth, because I cannot just leave dad on his own. Not only can he not be trusted with a can opener, but I would give mum a nasty surprise if she got back and saw I was off lollygagging in the Western country.

Smash on projector is only good if conflicting light is minimum. We've played very bad quality matches on Shaz's projector lol. **** Sun. **** it I say! Who's up for some WarCraft? I am.
