Mic128 posted in the QLD thread about a tourney that he found on a PAL gaming forum that is going to be held in Brisbane. We had no idea about it apparently there is an undiscovered smash scene in QLD. Syke and I had a good chat to the person organising the event and according to him there are 40 people confirmed for it some of whom are interstaters. The guys name is shadow/aaron i was wondering if any of you have heard of him before?? The date he is looking at is the 19th of August. It should be interesting if this goes ahead. He said he will keep me posted ill post any more information that he gives me here. It all sounds a bit suss but i guess time will tell. Here is the link that Mic gave us...

I watched one of the videos and you guys are pretty good there is certainly an improvement from the last time i smashed with you guys.

The only advice i could give you forblaze is to not full jump, double jump D-air you could see it coming a mile away. Other than that good stuff i certainly want to try my sheik out against some melbourne falco.

I'm a smasher and I play at UTS uni fri arvos - tho i don't go on saturdays lol. Its the only place I can think of that has smash meets (mianly for fun and practice. I kinda went to a tourney but had to leave as I had to get home by a certain date). Elsewhere is full of halo/lan games/street fighter. Am looking for a smash fest that could be organised by me or someone else that is centred at the lower north east sydney area.

My mains the avatar but I also play fox, marth + samus.

By the way I live at mosman.

I only started playing smash when I got it off a friend who wanted to sell his GC and controllers and game for $100 bucks. Good value lol! That was about 1.5 years ago and i'm still not bored with SSBM! I heard of smashboards since june and have been on other forum sites before then when i wanted to find out more about nintendo wii and then came across smashboards.

Good to see someone's interested in SSBM as well!

I would love a massive Australian tournament at some point with the majority of players outside of melbourne coming.
It would be good to see every state represented at least. Especially with their top players.

But of course, I'll always travel to a melbourne tournament regardless. Especially when Cao comes back ^_^
