Eff that noise. Smashville is way boring. We need more spice!

I vote for JCaesar's grouping style! Gives a wide variety, while giving you the option to avoid most stages you don't want to play via group bans.

For those who don't know his stage list/rules...

"For the 1st match, stage strike the starter list in 1-2-2-1-1-2 fashion. After the 1st match, each player bans a stage group for the remainder of the set (Players may counterpick a stage from the group they banned, and both players may ban the same group). The player who lost the previous match chooses a stage, then the player who won chooses their character, then the player who lost chooses their character.

Starters:
Battlefield
Final Destination
Smashville
Pokemon Stadium 2
Dreamland (64)
Fountain of Dreams
Yoshi's Story (Melee) (singles only)
SSE: Jungle (doubles only)

Counterpicks:
Group 1:
Final Destination
Smashville
Dracula's Castle
Green Hill Zone (singles only)

Group 2:
Battlefield
Pokemon Stadium 1
Pokemon Stadium 2

Group 3:
Yoshi's Story (Melee)
Yoshi's Island (Brawl)
Wario Ware
Fountain of Dreams

Group 4:
Dreamland (64)
Skyworld
Rumble Falls
SSE:Jungle (teams only)

Group 5:
Kongo Jungle (64)
Halberd
Brinstar
Metal Cavern (singles only)"

COOL!

Hey, WGS, wanna run P:M? I know it's a big load but if you don't plan on playing anything else, and you know the ruleset, you could totally do it if you were willing. Let me know.

Alright, some last minute wrapups before saturday

Carroll will be running P:M. WGS also knows the ruleset, so if you have questions, ASK THEM. Nobody from Bula really knows how P:M works so they will be taking care of all of it.

We will be in the venue at 9 o'clock. You guys can start showing up anytime you want. There is sufficient parking right outside the building.

There's a main entrance on the front of the building with a bunch of windows and glass doors and stuff. This is not the entrance to the tournament area. To the left of that is a single door on the wall which leads into the cafeteria area, where the tournament is taking place. Go through that door, the big glass entryway will be locked. We'll put a sign over the door you need to go through.

Food will be sold in the venue! Hot dogs and Pizza and chips and whatnot, as well as pop and water. There are also restaurants very near by if you need them.

Thanks to Carroll we will have a stream running! If you want to commentate or somethin you can, just make sure to talk to me or Carroll first so it's not crazy on that ****. Big sets + the heights/bula crew battle will be restricted to Carroll and Lake because they are undoubtedly the most hype pair. PA2gud

We have NO TIME LIMIT! We will go until alllll the events get finished, and we'll keep playing friendlies when everything's done. We want to play as much as possible, and since we own the venue, we don't get kicked out!

Because this event is benefiting the Special Olympics, there will be a couple mentally disabled kids walking around and even participating in the tournament. I expect each and every one of you to show them respect and not to ridicule them. If anyone is caught making fun of them, in any way, they will be asked to leave. The place won't be packed with athletes, but there will be a few there. Just don't be douches. This will be taken very seriously.

Doubles first, singles after, P:M halfway through singles. We will be super lenient with the P:M games if you are still participating in the singles bracket. You don't have to play P:M until you are completely done with singles if you choose to do so.

That's about it. I'm super pumped for this, along with the rest of bula. Get hype. c:

I don't really want to enter singles anymore. I don't have a problem with mentally disabled people whatsoever, but for some reason they make me very nervous, and I don't think I could handle trying to communicate with one.

I know what you mean. It can be kind of awkward, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't enter the bracket. If you're really buggin' about it that much, we might be able to rearrange your seed, but you'll be choosing to possibly have a harder bracket by doing so.

Idk though. Just imagine you're playing Eli.

Lol Matt chill. It's going to be like 3 people tops, and they are all very high functioning. They are able to speak 100% and you will have no problem talking to them. Most just have A.D.D. Or dyslexia, so you'll be fine. I'll also be at every tournament match that they're in, so don't worry.

Computer MM's are dog****, how many 50/50's can I lose in a row? I now understand people who go to casinos, bet on black 7 times in a row, and lose every one. Pat is the luckiest person in the world.

As much as I would like to come to this tourney and give you guys my money lol we don't have much time to spend together because of our work schedules. If you guys have paypal I can make my would be entry fees to or fund someone short on cash for this event... like $15-20.
