When was this stated? Can someone direct me to where this was said? I would really like to know where Serebii has said Mewtwo will not be in Brawl. Didn't Serebii say that he wasn't going to reveal anything about the characters? I mean, if he said Mewtwo is basically out, isn't that going against his own word? I got to say, I'm really getting tired of everybody taking everything for granted. We're not going to know for sure until the game comes out.

And what's with this garbage about, "Mewtwo and Lucario can't both be in?" No body knows that. Sure, it might seem like the logical thing, but honestly, seeing as how unpredictable the Smash Bros. team is, I really wouldn't be surprised if both characters made it in. It's really getting annoying how some of these people are parading around, saying everything they believe to be fact. Like I said, we're really not going to know what the roster for sure until the game is released. Period.

Sakurai wouldn't waste all the 3rd party hype with Sonic at a random time without more coming, ya' know. And the roster seems too small..and stupid. And Black Shadow is a horrible characters, anyways. >_>

edit: Serbii said that, but then he immediately backed down. Whether he found out Mewtwo was in Brawl (assuming his sources are correct), or he didn't want to "really blow it" is yet to be determined. But there is no reason to remove Mewtwo-as he is a SUPER RECONIZABLE CHARACTER! Everyone f***ing knows him...more then they'll ever know Lucario. He's the main Pokémon villan, strongest Pokémon, and one of the most reconizable Pokémon. O, and if someone mentions Melee tiers as a reason, I'll laugh *points at Kirby*.

THERE IS NOTHING AGAINST MEWTWO! His removal=Sakurai is a failure. Not gonna happen, especially with a HUGE NEED for villains, and the fact he could change sides during the Subspace Emissary from villian to hero, easily. He's one of the best Subspace Emisary plot twists Sakurai has got! >_>

Oops, sorry about that.

But then, wouldn't that mean that the roster DOES have a "wtf" factor? Just becuse becuase you learned about the character before getting the game shouldn't affect a character being classified as "wtf". Heck, in the very first trailer, we kind of recieved our ultimate "wtf" character: Snake. If even one person can honestly say they were expecting him, well, let's just say that you should be the one making all these "leaks" and "predictions".

Regardless, it seems that the roster is fake, AGAIN. Is it Janurary 24th yet?

Thus, it's only foolish to think that another company gave permision to add their character in, but didn't want any promotion for it. If there truly is a third third party character, it's going to be of the same series as one of the established ones already.

Right about the characters that we haven't even heard of before because Bilhidorf(or however you spell it) said that there will be things like "You ever heard of the Famicom game called Devil World and the character Devil? Of course you don't. But you will." So surely there will be characters we never heard of in our lives. I think Sakurai is trying to all past Nintendo Characters that we have missed before and that are new to us in this game. It truly will be great.
