It was a good reveal, but still no release date. Heck even Mario Kart and Kirby for 3ds can't get a solid release date.

i'm not losing interest. i enjoy seeing a new screenshot of the game posted every day and it's better than no updates. although i wish they would reveal one new character once a week, as well as announce lesser known nintendo characters more often to surprise us. i.e. fire emblem, advance wars, surprise characters from 80s nintendo games. such as mach rider, mike jones of star tropics, to name. not just the mains in mario, legend of zelda etc.

No no no, that's only half right. People with think it's the best game for a few months, then they will find another character that they want to have in the game and then will be unhappy when that new character gets in.

The only way I'm losing hype is I'm worried about what characters are going to be added at this point. So far we have a home decorator, a fitness trainer, a 3rd-party character, and a character who was nothing more then a NPC a few months ago. Again, I have to clarify that I am excited for all the characters shown, especially Rosalina and Villager. My problem is that, aside from Mega Man, none of them are traditional fighters in any sense. None of them are characters we've wanted in the game because they have awesome moves and abilities that we can't wait to use. They're what-if characters we wanted playable just to see how they would pull it off. It makes me worried that they're out of ideas for characters, and for whatever reason, the characters we all want (Ridley, K. Rool, Little Mac, ect) aren't going to be added for various reasons. There's always a chance that they're holding off on them, but it still worries me nonetheless.

I love out of the box decisions when it comes to character selection and this game has just had so many so far. Sure, I want for some ''for sure" people like Mac, Ridley, etc to get in.

But the fact that this game has already proven that Sakurai can take characters like Villager, Rosalina, and WFT and make them into very intriguing fighters worthy of being in the Smash roster? That's more than enough to make me hyped.

I think you're being pessimistic with their descriptions. We've got the mayor of a town who is an expert at gardening, archaeology, social skills and is possibly a Tyrannical Overlord back in the town. A fitness trainer who shoots poses of herself as her Final Smash. A legendary robot boy who has defeated 100+ evil robot masters and even fought Street Fighter characters! And the lady who protects the cosmos...
