They are low tier because they both have poor priority on their moves, unsafe moves, bad range, very bad recoveries, and terrible grab breaks. The main difference between them is that Ness has a significantly faster air game and some good quick kill moves and Lucas has some shield pokes while Ness doesn't.

1. Don't take this too seriously. I still play more for fun and to improve, not to play gay.
2. Terrible memory. Don't remember everything he says
3. If I listened to him, I wouldn't be a Mario main.

I know a lot, but I can't remember it. Add in the fact I don't think enough and my reaction is poor and there you go. If I work up my reaction time and choose safer options, that'll help a lot.

Both characters have very bad range (comparable to Mario, Luigi, or Wario's bad range), and they do not have the speed to be super safe or to create extremely solid mixups.

Lucas is slightly better than Ness due to being the superior character at poking and shield pressure (and better recovery). Ness is bad at everything except scoring kills. Neither character has solid camping to back up their lack of really good zoning tools.

Mario doesn't lose in range to these characters (rather he outranges them on several key moves AND outspeeds them) and generally has better pokes, combos, pressure tools, and he doesn't really lose in terms of having good KO options (in terms of having safe or reliable applications). Mario also has a better camp tool that is much safer and more versatile overall.

I kind of ignore the tier list now to be brutally honest, lol. It's just an excuse to suck with characters who're placed lower. Instead of realizing the faults you may have as a player, the blame goes on your main.

I think Mario is high tier, so every loss is my fault and I need to improve, rather than pick up a Snake or Marth.

1. i do the same idk why would i'd take it srsly, besides there's no such thing to playing "gay" with Mario, you just outplay them lol.

The GRs aren't the biggest problems. Neither character has really good range or speed, and they both suck at followups, specifically neither character can juggle reliably.

Getting ***** by a Marth isn't always getting better. I've benefited much more from Mario dittos than against his Marth.

I hate Mario dittos in general because almost everyone I have played in them camps, which is no fun at all because it makes most of Mario's standard strategies a lot less safe or practical to execute. Mario's camping imo really limits Mario a lot.

I don't actually camp in most matches. My style is heavily spacing oriented, and in most matchups I use fireballs for punishing or for controlling my opponent in followups.

I thought my dittos against Calebyte and XeroXen were fun enough. Not a whole lot of camping there. Unfortunately, I don't think any of them were taped, so I can only go on word of mouth. Sucks.

Believe me, it gets extremely boring playing a high lvl Marth all the time...I never really do Mario Vs Marth anymore because of this...I'll just go Luigi or D3.

The only thing you really get better at is Perfect Shielding and spacing...

Took me a year to get that dream. Brawl's has alot of things to learn.
