In a constant state of self-examination. In MN.
Wow, now I know what to do to get on everyone's bad side around here; pick on C. Falcon or Ness.

With those of you here who have read my posts, I must be getting a reputation for playing devil's advocate, because I seem to always enter a topic and then blatantly disagree with everyone. So, I'm going to try something new here. I'm going to agree with you while thinking that most of what has been said on this topic is a complete waste of time and space.

Explaination? Just like most of the rest of you, I am totally against the removal of C. Falcon. Unlike most of the rest of you, I'm going to give a few reasons WHY, instead of digressing to flaming the person who made the topic or the ever popular, ever useless '____ rox my world!!!' arguements (though, for the record, respect the knee).

Not to be rude, but I am quite sick of reading stupid posts. Everyone has an oppinion, therefore your's only has significance if you give some new or well founded reasons why anyone should take it seriously. Those who have made the arguement that for all practical purposes we can assume Falcon will return because of his inclusion in the first two games have my eternal respect for pointing out a very important factor that should be considered. Those of you who have posted about how cool he is have my eternal disrespect for stating no helpful information on why you happen to hold that oppinion, for oppinion it is.

All of my ranting aside, however, I see no reason why Falcon should not be in Brawl. He has a very distinct personality, he is from a game series from which he is currently the only representation, and as evidenced by the reaction in this thread, he is a fairly popular character. It is my personal oppinion that the a character should not be left out if he/she is the only character representing a his game, and it has always been my impression that Smash Bros. is supposed to include characters from all corners of the Nintendo multiverse. Aside from the clone running around with the same moveset, his moves are quite unique, and cinematic. In this particular case, I see no need to piss off the masses by taking him out when only a few people would want him removed.

While I completely disagree with everything said in the first post of this topic, I respect that it takes balls to disagree with the majority, something I feel most of the visitors of this forum should consider as well.

Hope I haven't pissed everyone off today. :p

Well to be honest, I can see why people would hate Capn' Falcon and Ness. However those reasons are that the person cant handle Falcons speed and they dont want to spend time to master Ness' unique style. IMO, both are symptoms of severe n00bitus.

Here is a simple solution to your problem, don't play with him.

And also, all characters take time to master,so you can basicaly say that no one should play with any character for that matter.

Not necessarily true. I can use C.F. very well yet I don't like the character at all. I don't even choose him. I do however have respect for the character(I know some who basically knees me and others to death) so I will agree that he should stay. He is original and must rep his series.

Side Note: +rep to the rat for not flamming and actually putting a reason within his post

One of the biggest surprises of SSB64 was Captain Falcon. The thing that pushed me over the edge though was that Nintendo just made up a moveset from scratch. If it were based around his racecar, I would understand, but the only thing Captain Falcon was in the series was a GIMMICK! Along with Ness, he was such a crappy character that he went from an unlockable character in the 64 version to an immediatly playable character in Melee. Nintendo must be in a desperate need of a roster if they were to bring Captain Falcon again. Tell me what you thinK?
I agree they should remove him or seriously edit his moveset.

Hes a racer so remove him from the game. Ganon was better even though his moves will be different if he is back in Brawl.

I think captain falcon is a great character in SSB64, Melee, and will be in Brawl. Same goes for Ness. Both CF and Ness had starring roles in great nintendo games. They aren't going anywhere

fyi, i am sticking up for Cap'n Falcon and Ness players and calling ppl who refuse to say Ness and other harder to play chars are lame noobs. Try filtering sacrasm before you comment next time. Also, Im not saying that all non-nubs MUST be able to play C.F. and the like....just have enough balls to say that they are good charactors when someone playes them right...thats all lol......you all know you love n00itus....use it wisely

Dude C.Falcon's moves are made out of Smash Bros. He even uses Falcon Punch in the anime. He is the rolemodel of every character which doesn't has moves. C.Falcon is also one of the 12 Originals and is the only one who represents the F Zero franchise which is quite populair.

There is NO way C.Falcon will be cutted from Brawl.

I like C.Falcon now. But I still hate Ness, Yeah

He needs to be in because he's the basis of clones everywhere. He provided the moveset for Ganondorf and Mach Rider could make the Mach Punch look cool no sweat!
Oh great, now your hating up on Ness

Anyways, since you learned to love CF, you can learn to love Ness.

Put it this way, Falcon's moveset was so good in Smash64, they used it again for Ganondorf, one of Nintendo's most popular villians from one of their most successful franchises. That is confidence, or proof that Melee was rushed...

Falcon is pretty cool, I mean look at his anime series, bad assssss

If anyone sould take over (SAY he does get removed...) Beastman or Spade, they own all.

FACT:

Falcon > Beastman > Spade > Rest of the cast

I'd like to see them with some of their old attacks again. Ness was good enough without the telekinesis added to his attacks, capt. falcon was waaay fast with his smashes. Change em back and all is right with the world.

Falcon is much better in Melee. Ness is better compared to his old self. It's just that the other characters all got better too.

Have you ever even seen Isai play smash?

Go to youtube right now and then think about this thread again please.

Falcon is the sexiest person in smash...sexier even then Snake, and if you disagree you can get kneed.

are you kidding me? Brawl without cap'n falcon would be like life without chuck norris. You cant kill him. If I were a woman I would do falcon in a heartbeat. I'm not even joking. gotta love those gold plated nipples.

lmao, that made me think of something. you must be very careful when playing a match with both snake and falcon participating, because the manliness might be too great and cause your game to freeze up permanently..
