Unemployment has gone up .1% and housing prices are lower then last month. I wouldn't begin to call this the end of the recession. They're basing the announcement on data that shows an upward trend in the economy. Doesn't mean everything's all fine now and life will be fun and dandy, just means that things will get better if the trend continues.
It's a private organization, not the white house, and that's not what a recession means. Recession is a slow down of economic activity. The activity increased. It doesn't matter if only 10% of the people have jobs, if those 10% do more work then the 95% or so before then technically it's not a recession.Unemployment has gone up .1% and housing prices are lower then last month. Trends aren't looking good, they did this as a political stunt so idiots think the people in office are doing a good job.

Okay, this doesn't have a hell of a lot to do with the topic, but whatever. Also, far as I'm concerned, house prices should stay low. I don't even see why they are this high, a house should not cost 5 years wages of the average person's income.
It's surprising how inaccurate most of your information is.You don't like to believe in political scandals do you?
