□ I've seen a few threads about error codes within the past 5 months. Usualky it just wind up not helping because either:

A) It's to specific of a error code so not to many

B) The thread didn't receive much info.:

□ This thread will just stop clutter and will hopefully get attention from many people with the problem.

□ Have a more RARE error code?
□ Disconnect during transmission?
□ Members can help with the problem!

sometimes it happeneds for like..a few hours or even one day. But it usually goes back to normal. Your better off just doing something else for the rest of the evening

if its not resolved by tomorrow, i would also plan on doing other things like i have

Dunno about weird codes, but here's a quick compilation of typical codes.

From: http://www.smashboards.com/showthread.php?t=234745

1.) 86420 - This code may have 1 or more impacting causes. Check firewall settings if you are getting this error every time you join a group. Occasional instances of this error code indicate a temporary instability in the network. Try logging in again.

2.) 20202/20100 - This code usually relates to a problem with Nintendo WFC. No amount of effort on your end will make this error abate. Simply wait patiently until Nintendo has corrected the problem. After several hours you may report the issue to Nintendo.

3.) 80430/85020/91010/61010 - Basically the same as 86420 except not usually firewall related. Same fixes may apply.

4.) 52020 - Typically this will happen if a cable is loose. Check all cables and try again. If it still fails double check your router settings. If you are connecting via Nintendo LAN adapter reset all hardware and try again. You may also need to manually configure your settings. Also this error code may indicate your ISP uses PPPoE to establish a network connection. This however is not compatible with the Wii.

5.) 20102 - Doh! You may have been banned from NWC due to inappropriate activity while logged in (hacking). Enter the code at support.nintendo.com to be provided with an 800# to call for further details.

I've never had one but I believe the 51XXX series are reserved for wired connections. 51020 for example.

according to support.nintendo.com that is related to wireless security and follows the same xbleshooting that would fix an 86420 minus the firewall setup. WEP vs WPA, channel setting, and manual configuration.

possible fix Static IP

A possible fix to the many error codes and the random disconnection is to set a Static IP in your rooter, then input it to the wii in advance setting, this would also mean that you would need to enter your primary DNS, ask your admin if you don’t know what your doing.

Hope this helped
