Kind of long story:

"Dark Meow left from Durango to Arizona, where STB took him under their wing and taught him how to be amazing at smash. Especially Light. After 6 months of gruly training, Brawl was released. He then moved to Durango for a short bit, and now resides in Texas, where he is consistently taking top ten and is quite possibly the best Peach."

I'm money matching PC Chris at FAST XD Prolly just buying him lunch in the long run tho. I'm not scared of snakes too much. Anyways, I'm always on for a money match, I like free money.

Twin_A, Durango is the worst smash community ever XD I've been playing every weekend in tourneys and stuff, doing great XD Dallas is great! Can't wait for some matches. Do you main link? If so, I'd consider changing mains... no offense, he's just so... low tier.

Here is some quick stuff (I'm going to make the flyer today)

It is going to be $5 to get in. Doubles will be first at 1 for $20 a team and singles $10 and I will probably start them at 4.

Also, Snake and Metaknight are banned. More setups would be nice.

Actually Davis, I don't think it's necessary to ban Snake and Metaknight for this tournament; considering I probably won't be playing him and Everett isn't coming.

Also, I'm dropping Metaknight (sort of). He's not that fun to play and it's too easy to win with him. I'll still keep him in my arsenal for those tight situations; but other than that, I'm going to stop playing him.

If you wanna challenge, look out for Wolf. He counters Snake and MK btw, so pick him up to own them. He's the toppest tier character imo. (I don't play him, so I'm not just upping on my main....)

Best player in the nation (JumpMan) plays Wolf. He's insane.

I was going to say you shouldn't stop using him entirely. It's all about winning in the competitive scene, and if you have to play Metaknight to do that then do it. However, that's cool that you want to broaden your horizons still.

I think I'm going to pick up Snake (boo), Metaknight (boo), Falco (probably boo), G&W (probably more booing), and maybe Wario and Dedede. Not sure about those two. I'm definitely going to work more on my Olimar and Wolf, though. I want to be able to beat anyone with Wolf, though, in the end.

Wolf is a badass. He is top tier in my heart but he is not a higher tier than Snake or Metaknight, and he sure as **** does not do well against MK. However, he doesn't do very poorly against Snake. I'd rather use Olimar, though.

I hate playing as MetaKnight because he is too straight forward. There is hardly any room for experimentation (at least in my opinion).

That's why I play Falco in Melee.

Edit: Everyone should probably try to get in touch with as many people as possible and let them know about this tournament. It seems that the NM smash scene has been kind of inactive lately on the boards.

The only real way we are going to get people to this tournament is through word of mouth, so I would suggest doing as Paul said.

Just let all the people you know who play Smash about it.

Well, FAST would be a much better tournament to go to than Colorado's, though I want to go to both.
